19th anniversary is/would be November 27th. We have 4 kids between 14 years and 6 years old. Our "marriage" has been a disaster for the past 6 years (wife pretty much just stopped talking to me except logistics). No real reason. I haven't been perfect, but did the best I could. Always gainfully employed with a solid job/income (nothing lucrative, but we live comfortably from a financial standpoint), always home for dinner and bedtime, rarely go out, I'm not abusive to her or the kids, haven't cheated, no addiction issues ... but there's always something she's upset about with me. On Friday night she told me she is filing for divorce tomorrow (Monday). We've been in marriage counseling for years. At our last session, the Wednesday before last, she literally stated that she didn't want to get divorced because "It wouldn't solve our problems. It would just create a different set of problems". On the one hand, I'm not sure why I'm surprised (or why I really care after how she has treated me that past 6 years). On the other hand, I am devastated and have absolutely no idea what to do. She told me this right before she and the kids left on Friday for an out of town soccer tournament. I've just been sitting, staring into space, in shock, all weekend. I don't even know how to comprehend moving forward.
