I think people misunderstand this a lot.

The majority of modern activist feminists are mostly psychopaths with a small specific spin to them that causes this.

They have conjured and cultivated a fake imaginary picture of society and especially men.

If a man shows emotions around them, there is some tiny bit of piece inside them that starts to notice they are human beings.

Because you know there is still a part in the modern feminist brain that is capable of normal emotions - mostly there so they can feel sorry for themselves, and can emotionally reinforce their victim fantasies and the like.

Now unlucky them that part of their brain that reads about any semi-true-thing-happened-to-women story and immediately projects themselves into it uses some basic brain mechanisms for it. Such as mirror neurons, etc. ...

That part of the brain reacts to men having emotions too. They usually never are in contact with actual men, just "male" feminists and their fantasy of them.

Their "ick" is the contradiction their brain tries to fight off.

The fact that the moment their emotions center reacts to seeing them and is forced to acknowledge them as normal human beings and not the super villains they made them out to be, their brain is also forced to acknowledge what absolute psychotic monsters they really are. That there is nothing good or just or any of that crap in their actions or words.

This is not self reflection, there is no real acknowledgement here, they won't change anything because of it. There is a part of you that read that and thought "oh, she is extending a hand. oh, she is fighting her bias. oh, she is stepping towards common ground" and the like - she is not. Let the scorpion on you back for the river crossing at your own peril. Save your compassion and drive to find common tolerance for people and movement that deserve it and where it can go somewhere. These people are lost.

Yeah, that "ick" is lack of sexual attraction and refusal to even acknowledge the man as human.

It's because women expect men to protect and serve them even when men will get nothing in return for said protection and service. It's because men are utilities to women; and if a man shows himself to be human with negative feelings and emotions, his utility to her is lessened. And he certainly cannot be a sexual partner. Women expect utter perfection from their sex partners - perfect emotional regulation; perfect bodies, perfect cocks, perfect balance of strength and sensitivity, always in control, always at the ready with protection, service, solutions, and finances.

So that is pretty much why women don't like it when men get "emotional".
