I feel like this subreddit preaches this 'appear above her/like you dont care' attitude in order to not show neediness a bit too much and 'make her want you'. I think some times girls take it as disinterest and so they move on. Thoughts on this?

Is it true that you're either attracted to a guy, or you're not?

Meaning, have you ever dated a guy that you weren't initially attracted to, but eventually for whatever reason you started to find him attractive?

I'm not talking about the friend zone btw, the reason I'm asking this simply is because I only approach the girls that show IOI's, I never bother with girls that done.

Okay, so what should I do when I'll go to a small trip on a hill station with bunch of girl. There are gonna be like 15+ girls but only like 6-7 guys. What happens when a woman tries giving advice is that she talks about the things she wants to happen, but she doesn't talk about everything that actually happened to become attracted. If she does talk about how she became attracted, then she's usually going to speak about correlating details, and correlation doesn't equal causation.

I believe when women post here, they've got good intentions, but they don't know where or how to give good feedback. What I believe you'd need to do is focus more on self reflection, then comment on the given advice threads. Don't bother with posts where a guy is asking for specific advice (which would be any question asked in a thread like this).

Let's say one of the experienced guys makes a post detailing a specific thing. You read through it, self reflect and go through your memories of all the men that "succeeded" with you. Try to find anything you can recall that relates to the topic, then talk about it.

Example: Bros! You should be negging! It works, do it like this! XYZ!

You chime in and the first thing you want to say is, "Negging is bullshit and if you do it you're an asshole." except it does work and there's varied degrees of negging, so pick through your memories and find a soft neg that a man used and didn't make you hate him. It's easy to immediately write off a concept when you're not attracted to the person sharing that concept. It's difficult to acknowledge the actual behavior is what was working for the guy you were attracted to though. If you're attracted to a guy, then all the things he's doing is attractive, so you wouldn't label the behaviors as negatives, but positives.

"So I remember a time a guy did XYZ and I told him to fuck off, but another guy only did X and Z. The guy that did X and Z got laid." would be a good format for feminine advice, I believe.

So I've missed out on a lot of opportunities when it comes to dating women. Mainly it's because I can't figure out certain cues that show that they are interested in me. It could be something subtle like coming over to my place to play video games, but she wanted to do more than play games, meanwhile I'm not even picking it up what she actually wants.
Any advice on how to be better at picking up certain cues? Just curious, thanks!

I am 33. I met a local barista in February. She will be 20 in December. We hit it off right away and have been friends ever since. I was hesitant to ask her out on any sort of date because of her age. As time went on, the age thing means little to me as I've gotten to know her pretty well. At this point I have the biggest crush on her. We've gone out for lunch, dinner, hanging out etc.

She has told me and I've witnessed a couple guys telling her how much they like her only to get rejected and go silent on her. One of them is a coworker but they are on good terms now. The other is a customer. With all that said, I don't want to be bunched into that group and it's unlikely that I will be. I'd like to go steady with her but at this point I am thinking it's too late and we are friends.

I don't mind that and I am not going crazy here by any means. It's just that I sure do like her but do not want to make things awkward . What might you suggest?

What's the best way to move a friendship into a relationship? I've asked friends of mine on a date in the past and it always ends the same "I see you as a friend" I honestly don't get it. I'm one of the smartest guys @ my college, I can get recognized by like half the people in my classes, and I do a ton of shit. But I can't get a date with a girl I'm interested in to save my life.
