Today i was at work and their was a girl who set up a free sampling stand outside my store, i spoke to her for a good 30-40 minutes straight, asking questions about work, what she enjoys and honestly tried hard to make her laugh/impress her. I go inside the store to tell my co-worker about the insanely cute girl outside so he walks outside and he barely laid eyes on her when he says; "Look, i think you're pretty and I'd love to take you out sometime, can i get your number?" and she gave it to him. So of course i was angry at myself for being shy and scared of failure because truth is if i had asked for her number the way my coworker did, she would have gave it to me, but instead i didn't make my intentions clear so i didn't deserve to get her number. Today my co worker taught me a lesson, you need to make your intentions clear from the start, don't fear failure and of course any approach is better than no approach. Don't mistake having a conversation with flirting like i did, i use to text girls or speak to them for hours face to face but they never considered me more than a friend because i never told them i wanted a relationship - that was my mistake. TLDR- Make your intentions clear from the start, simplicity is best.
