I can only talk about my personal experiences. However, I haven't seen a single person who could get a girl just because his game is so awesome.
In my experiences girls either feel some attraction at the beginning of your interaction or they don't. This attraction is probably caused by looks for the most part. Few other factors like social proof etc. apply too, but if she isn't physically attracted to you, she won't even give you the chance of having an interaction.

So what is game? Game is what determines how far you get with that specific girl. Even though she is physically attracted to you doesn't mean she will kiss you or sleep with you. Here is where game helps you out and sets you apart from the other guys she is physically attracted to.

I'm not sure, but my suspicion is that you can be fun or interesting in some way that doesn't make them immediately brush you off. Someone mentioned Neil Strauss and Mystery in another comment. Back in the day, I know they'd do some opinion openers (e.g. "Who lies more, men or women?"). I've never been a fan of opinion openers, though, since they feel too contrived. If you're fun, have good energy, and can draw them into your party, you might have a better chance, although you have to be careful about becoming the dancing monkey (i.e. where they're amused by you and pay attention to you, but aren't the least bit attracted to you).

Personally, I just move on because there's other girls that I can open, and I generally don't feel like trying to convert girls who are giving me an immediate "no".

I feel like most of the reasonable perspectives on this issue have been presented already in this thread. So I'll add that if a girl put her hand in my face and said "BYE" I wouldn't be interested anymore. I don't even see this as a question of what to do next or if I should try anything because why would I want to?

When someone says no at first sight, their judgement is based on very little information, so by definition it is not accurate. You can be exactly what she's looking for, you could be her future husband and she (nor you) knows it yet. So all you can take from that is that no she's not interested in being hit on by a random guy at that point in time. Sometimes you can't get past another person's inaccurate judgements and bad life choices. All you can do is be there, show her who you really are, and present yourself as a compelling choice for her to make. If she still chooses no, you could choose to persist knowing that she's making a bad mistake with incomplete information, or you could decide that the path she's going down in life is one you'd rather not participate in because of her demonstrated poor judgement.

Instead of focusing on trying to "get" the girl, focus on how you can get better in general.

Is it possible to win a girl over after she says she's not interested? Yeah totally. But if you are consistently getting bad responses on the initial open, you should probably work on that.

If you really want to get better at this stuff, you have to be able to determine your own sticking points and make a conscious effort to work on them. Learning how to open effectively is imperative because that's when the real game starts, you have to at least get your foot in the door.

There's tons of material out there on how to approach and open women. There are many different methods so try a bunch out and see what works best for you! Practice practice practice, opening will get easier with practice trust me 😊

I'm not sure it's possible to recover from that, really. If she's not interested, she's not interested. Game is really just charisma. You can't MAKE girls attracted to you

I have seen guys do amazing recoveries. I have seen guys pick up girls who had NO interest in them to start with, that were way out of their league.

But I don't think I've ever seen anyone get past "hand in the face". Maybe where you hang out is a meat market, and the women only talk to guys that they want to sleep with. (Think Tinder)

Or they do this because you are approaching too directly. Are you facing towards them? Are you too close for the social norms of the setting? Dressed inappropriately? Too eager? These can make a girl want to shut things down now, before things get bad.

If you are getting this commonly, it may be time to change venues. Some bars tend to have sex on the agenda. That's not good for some people. I do better in places where conversations are more casual - I talk better than I look. Gives me more time to make a good impression. Try somewhere else. Even another bar may have a different agenda.

I wouldn't try to get past this. You risk poisoning the well, and making yourself or your group of friends unwelcome in the venue.

Move on to the next - and change something up. Approach, venue, etc.

I don't think you need to be a male model, but 'game' is only gonna get you so far. In certain environments (night game/clubs) looks are super important, and if you don't look like what she wants, lots of girls will shoot you down as you open (even if you open indirectly).

I don't think it's possible to turn a 'no girl' into a 'yes girl' in them environments. Don't forget that game is just basically social skills. Not some sort of mystical mind control!

The art of seduction, 'game' or whatever you want to call it is just a set of tools to put you in the best position to attract women that have potential to be partners, partners being anything from a one night stand to lifetime.

This doesn't mean it ensures you to get a 'sure thing'. It doesn't mean you learn ways to manipulate women into saying 'yes' to sleeping with you. It doesn't mean that you're a womanizer, serial dater, or player.

What is 'game'? It's having the ability to prepare yourself for potential situations that can increase your odds of meeting people. It means being able to tailor your individual approach to each specific scenario and use the tools and skills you have honed to create opportunities that would not be available to people with lesser 'game'.

So philosophically, there are splits on how to use skills, techniques and options:

It's a numbers game. If she is not interested move on to the next one. This usually involves the more direct approach, like "Hey my name is ________, how's your night going?". It can work for certain situations and certain people. It relies on being upfront and not playing games. There are women that appreciate this approach, and there are many that are turned off by it. You can subscribe to this idea and implement it everywhere you go, but is just one style of many.
Approach techniques. This one involves more openers, creative questions, tricks, and even negging to some extent. These can be hit or miss, but generally have a better rate for hooking up that very night. This allows you to side-step the potential of being shot down that the direct approach begs for. It allows you to seem less aggressive and more fun. It's not always the best style for every situation, even though everyone believes it to be because you can potentially land that girl that's got a boyfriend or the one that's been shooting down guys all night. This style requires more knowledge, social awareness, and confidence.
The third and last style of game I'll mention is the 'hunting' team game. This is when you've got wingmen and you use coordinated team strategies to create opportunities. This is most difficult to pull off, but is most rewarding, in my experience. Your wingmen and you need to be all on the same page. If one guy's ego gets out of control and they go all Leroy Jenkins on your team, it destroys chances. By working together more can be achieved than working alone. Finding the right teammates is the challenge. Most want to have our friends but that's not always the best idea. Your friends don't always have the same goals, they don't treat you with the respect that you deserve at all times, and might not put as much effort into being a good 'wingman' because when it's all said and done you'll still be friends, where as having pure wingmen mean that they are there for a purpose, and maybe more receptive to criticism, ideas, and plans than your best friend.

There are more styles, but using the right style in the right environment at the right time is what is the hallmark of someone with excellent 'game'. It's not the trick to turning 'no's into 'yes's, but rather just seeing more 'yes's in general.

There are two aspects to game: inner game and outer game. You seem overly concerned with outer game: ...getting results. Part of outer game is having an answer or response to all the possible outcomes from any possible approach scenario. Constructing and executing an approach scenario properly is also part of outer game. The question "How's your night going?" as an opener is a weak, generic opener that doesn't really merit anyone's interest or attention by itself (good inner game may play a role. Also, tone, body language, eye contact, etc.). A true "no" or "not interested" cannot be turned into a "yes" or "interested". To help prove this point, let's turn the tables in a thought experiment: Consider the ugliest, skankiest, lowest, bottom-feeder woman. I mean...she's borderline zero on a scale of ten. You're at a bar, minding your own business, and guess who's coming up to you and giving you the 'I wanna fuck you eyes'? She wants your bod, boy. YEAH! She may try various tactics to turn your obvious "no" into a "yes". Yet, it doesn't matter how hard she tries. It's just not going to happen. YOU know that. SHE might not...especially if you're a decent human being and don't tell her to "FUCK OFF" the moment she opens her mouth. If she had good game, she would have already filtered you out of her potential pickups by reading your non-verbals, or by starting a non-confrontational, non-committal opener that gets her the information she needs in order to make a decision about whether you are worth pursuing or not. Alright...tables back to normal. That's all outer game. Filtering out the 'no' girls, giving the 'maybe' girls the opportunity to make the right decision, and letting the 'yes' girls know you're in the game and they better hurry if they want a quality guy like you. Inner game is being at peace with yourself and others no matter what. It's clearly defining your goals, and making decisions, taking actions, and limiting yourself to those choices that lead you toward your predetermined goals. The guys that re-approach have good inner game, because they're showing the virtues of perseverance and courage. Recognize the good qualities in other men and nurture those qualities you notice in yourself that would make your game better. Be sexy.

If she is not interested move on. If you want to better read if she is interested or not, read Superflirt and Superdate for body language help. As far as gaming "maybes," it's a waste of time that you could be spending on women who are actually interested/available. A "no" is good because it doesn't waste your time. Also, remember that your approach is part of initial attraction.

If you are getting a LOT of initial "no's", look to your outer game, approach, attraction game (tease and banter and humor work), and conversation...and improve it.

"Game" (Calibration, escalation, man to woman energy)

If you're asking whether game help you get girls who are on the fence then yes, good game can help you consistently do that.

If you're asking whether game can get you sleeping consistently with girls way above your league ... although it certainly can ... it's not really feasible unless you put an absurd amount of time into it. IMO you're better off long term getting fit and crushing it at school/career and getting more hotties on the fence than trying to become Todd valentine.

I agree with most of the opinions here on nexting the girl. But since you ask for more in the discussion I have a different perspective for you.

Your game should be more than what you do to get the girl, your game should be YOU. You can't do a lot with "game" after getting rejected, because she already rejected your "game" because your game is YOU.

Now to prove this, let me give you an example. Imagine you're in a concert of a band you like. You see a hot girl in the crowd and approach her, she says i'm not interested.

Now imagine the same situation if the vocal or guitarist of the band approached the same girl. Do you think she would be a "no girl" then? Even if she doesn't want to have sex that night, she would continue the conversation. You can't easily reject someone like that.

Now the problem here is that you can't be the famous artist all the time. What you need to do is bringing something to the table and proving yourself, before approaching the girl. That can happen by being the fun/interesting guy at the party; or if you're in a club if your social circle is nice and you seem like you're having a really good time, you can easily drag this hot girl to your group and build attraction. And that's when the classic "game" that everyone accepts comes in. Now your chances of getting the "no, i'm not interested" is very low, she wouldn't even have the opportunity to say this.

But since it's too hard to become someone that nobody can reject, nexting is the best option. If you get rejected, don't think like "how can i win this with my game?" because your game has already lost.
