These guys are completely uninterested in what women actually want, only complaining about what other men tell them women want. It's one of the more maddening aspects of misogyny: as a woman, your thoughts are deemed so unimportant that it feels rational for someone who isn't you to believe that they know what you think and feel and you actually don't. (Either that or you're lying to manipulate them, which, as an anonymous rando on the Internet you have no sane motivation to do, but I guess we're all an evil hive mind conspiring to hurt them?!)

I find it funny to watch the poop slinging from the red pillers. And how off base they are with the targets they want to be attracted to them so badly.

They are so misinformed with their bad ideas. Yes women like attractive men. No duh. But what they fail to understand is what is attractive to people is not attractive to others we aren't a monolith with what we find attractive. And they don't account for the emotional aspect/attachment theories. People are so varied in experiences and preferences. That there isn't this one size fits all approach to dating.

I called them losers who had to resort to online pick up tactics to try and engage women. They didn't like it very much. To me red pillers make me think of that guy from Waiting and Still Waiting. The one who couldn't pee in the urinal with people around. So he was all meek and timid. And he was watching pick up artist tapes and played this persona of a "high value man" but he was still that loserish dude. It's literally the same thing. They repeat the same mantras and do not interact with enough women to actually learn how we are just quoting studies and things. Instead of befriending and interacting and LEARNING about women outside of the dating ideals. Truthfully it's sad but they are going to be there.

I made the same mistale. I thought debate meant you listen to each other points and then address them. But instead you get piled on if you don't say what the redpillers want to hear.

I tried for a while but it's not possible to have discussion where one calls you a liar every time you disagree.

Purplepill debate is the equivalent of debating climate science with flat earthers.

There is no benefit from having a debate with an extremist viewpoint in order to come to a "moderate" in between consensus. That's a well known falacy. It's called the fallacy of the golden mean.

Everything the red pill is right about isn't unique to them and everything unique to them is wrong. Even the point you mentioned, "women value looks" isn't a red pill idea. Almost everyone thinks looks matter to some degree to most women. All the unique ideas added by red pill, i.e. the 80/20, are complete bullshit.

There is no value to any forum like purple pill debate or political compass memes, etc. When you give the most extreme and obviously wrong veiws an equal say all you end up doing is allowing misinformation to spread.

The "marketplace of ideas" is well known idiocy.

I think this place is better, because people at least are already questioning their beliefs. Young guys have it bad, they really need a place to get real advice, even if it's hard to hear.

As with any ideology based on an authoritarian/us vs them paradigm, any time you let redpillers into a space it will be taken over.

It’s like letting fascists in to a democratic space; the two are inherently incompatible because the former depends on total control and blocking out any opposing voices.

For all their emphasis on being “clearly correct” and “obvious,” all of these types of movements are actually super fragile. If they weren’t, letting in other voices wouldn’t be such an issue for them! But as soon as opposing data, diversity of experience, etc come in, it completely undermines their basic principles/assumptions. No point trying to participate in any space that lets such movements in, unfortunately.

Yes honestly I’m so done with that sub. I tried to argue there hoping the TRPer men were there in good faith but honestly it’s such a cesspool of insecure and bitter young dudes, and they want to believe they know everything about women without ever really listening to anything women say.

I say just let them be miserable over there. If they really wanted to get better, they would seek out help or consume different content. But they choose to stay in their little echo chambers online, so whatever. I’m done trying.

I was banned from there for some stupid reason.

What I found extremely funny was that the demographics over there are mostly young, male, and virgin. They can't get women but for some reason, they want a beautiful, attractive virginal woman who will go 50/50 with them. Since they dont have real experience, they cling on to a fantasy. Really? A model-like women who is a virgin because no other man ever noticed she was beautiful, will change her mind once she meets the incel in question and have nasty freaky xes with only him, AND pay half the bills because the incel is such a great person. It seems to me that appearance is pretty much all anyone (regardless of gender/orientation) has to go on unless you want to spend all your waking hours poring over the profile text, trying to decipher what those cryptic and/or generic statements mean.

Particularly for women who get overwhelmed with options, allowing the app to filter on some preferences makes sense even if they're not really requirements. My guess is that's where the pilled nutters get their weird ideas from. Or at least enough "data" to keep their story going. Then there's all the viral tiktokkers who actually spout this rubbish as if it's their real requirements, bc they know they've got a great chance of collecting lots of clicks.

Disclaimer: interested observer to this kerfuffle who has never even downloaded a dating app to see what the fuss is about. Pretty sure the missus wouldn't accept that "I'm only doing it for research".

The difference is Men are into everything and the weirdest things meanwhile the majority of Women all like the same looking Masculine Men.

Used to think Women had varied tastes in Men physically but now I believe it is monolithic to an extent. Wide Shoulders, Thick neck, wide wrists, Cheek bones with that long bicycle seat face where the face is longest from Forehead to chin, wide nose, brown hair and eyes, muscles with some strength.

It's all Women are attracted too and doesn't matter the race of man.
