I think everyone should be more willing to fight against the corporate ghouls that want us to work ourselves to death.

I also have no issue with a stay at home parent of any gender, in fact it's often easier as there is someone to take care of the children and the house.

That all said, the way that article is written it seems these women just want to live a comfortable life, living off the work of the man.

Are they doing anything in these relationships or are they just a parasite?

It's easy to do what you want when someone else is funding you.

It's an expectation men can no longer afford.

It seems feminism went far enough to give women everything they wanted, but then stopped shy of men in order to take a sharp turn back to conservatism.

If a man in these situations stops being able to afford to pay for her lifestyle, how many relationships do you think buckle from the pressure? If that woman wants that money from the government now instead, the state is going to tell her to leave the relationship so that she can receive benefit.

Having and indolent life without passions, hobbies or any sort of work isn’t healthy for anybody.

She also seems a bit entitled. She should be extremely grateful and proud of her husband which I didn’t feel she really expressed. Maybe pick up a hobby or work for a charity, things will go sour quickly if she doesn’t. Gym and scrolling TikTok don’t count.

It will never be widespread in a country like Sweden, you typically have to have two incomes to get by as a family in Scandinavia. There will of course always be wealthy men who pay for sex, presence and comfort at home, but it is only for the few.

Thus sounds like tradcon in even a lazier and spoilt package. This would never work even on a grand scale, because most people don't earn enough money to deliver such a luxurious or even remotely decent lifestyle.

This sounds like the idea of choice Feminism, where a woman gets to choose her role as either SAHM or career woman. I don't think that the average person can really choose or the other individually on a grand scale. I believe that people rather have to choose which model we use for everyone on a grand scale. There is no possibility for half the population to be traditional and other half to be modern, because of the economic unequal consequences that can happen. There are also dating inequalities that aren't mentioned. I can guarantee you that there are definitely enough women who won't ever end up with the caliber of men they equalize themselves to. There are so many issues I can name.

We're at a point as a society where we have to choose what negative consequences and life choices we have to choose for women after them milking out all the positive aspects of society. This will be a race to the bottom.

Another testament to how they can do no wrong. When they are told that they would probably be happier at home, instead of pursuing a career, those people are labelled sexist. But when they actually do it if their own accord, it’s celebrated ?

The real problem with this is how those opportunities could have actually gone to someone who would have done something with them. What happens as medicine and law is becoming female dominated ? Now a gigantic portion of doctors are going to be leaving the profession leaving it in shambles for everyone. And people wonder why there was reluctance to admit women to these positions.
