Red pillers tend to use "value" to mean "sexual market value" and "relationship market value". Even if you do lose value while married, it doesn't really matter because you're off the market anyway. You've already found the buyer.

Value only applies to people who are on the market. Once you’re married, the only man who’s opinion matters is your husband? And for a good husband, your value does not decrease as you get older. Especially if you give him children.

It's a bit of the opposite. A woman that's 30 and married doesn't need to concern herself with her "sexual value". You grabbed a good guy when you had the most youth, energy and attractiveness, and gave that relationship those valuable years.

Now he loves you, and you getting a few wrinkles doesn't matter the tiniest bit, because you spent your "most attractive years" building something solid and love based, and now you get to enjoy it.

Following TRP mentality, assuming your husband is solid, you won. So did he.

Being 30 is a problem when all you've had is "situationships" and "it's complicateds", have fucked 50 guys, consider that the bare minimum you can expect is the most successful and hot of those 50, "won't settle for less" and time keeps ticking.

Five, ten years from now, you'll be the successful mother of a beautiful child, you'll be in a loving family, and that's actually quite wholesome.

It's all to do with your value in terms of a long term mate, your married so have no value to them as you're not available.

Imagine your a man and you have all your shit together, good job, own a home etc etc.

You want a wife and a family, 2 or more kids etc.

There is time in-between "meet woman" and "having kids".

A 30+ yo woman will have shorter time available to her to get from A to B.

Younger women have more time.

That is why they are more valuable in this market (add in the fact men find younger women more attractive)

Their reaction was literally what I was thinking reading this. You're off the market. Why should you care about sexual market value or a woman's prime? This stuff is relevant to single women trying to attract a guy. You've already accomplished to goal, so a lot of this no longer applies to you.

Again, why would men factor you in when discussing sexual market value when you're off the market? You have value to your husband but your SMV to other guys is irrelevant because you're taken.

Yes, the point is to say that this is a person's peak as an attractive partner to the opposite sex. And that said person should use this peak period to get the best partner they can. Once women do that and cash in their chips, they've succeeded and no longer should be concerned about their peak or SMV.

40M. Married, and RP-ish.

Most secure, well-adjusted men value their wives for more than their looks, but want the woman to continue making an effort in that regard. I’m lucky…my wife is a smoke show, but what I most value about her is not her looks.

Everyone places different weight on different attributes / behaviors, but genuinely caring and putting in effort broadly (but also with an eye toward what he cares about) goes a LONG way.

Btw, I don’t think my comments are RP or BP….just common sense.

ETA: Wife is 40F. Of course I can appreciate that there are plenty of younger women that are more attractive to the majority of men, but I like my wife’s “flaws”, most of which relate to our kids, so I appreciate and love the stretch marks, laugh lines, etc. But i also appreciate that she controls what she can control if that makes sense.

You get valued for different things as a friend. You are valued for different things as a parent. You are valued for different things as a employee, and it still varies from job to job. And you are valued for different things as a (potential)spouse.

That's a common mistake for both men and women, when they think they no longer need to care about their SMV when married. SMV is significantly less important if you're off the market, not looking for anyone, but you still cannot let yourself go too much, because this can cause some friction and resentment, especially if perceived difference in SMV widens. Women are more likely to act on it, but men can have a fling or just leave you too.

Any women in RP perspective is a paradox, a schrodinger's hoe that is both a hoe and valued woman simultaneously until an observer has observed their state. On one hand, they are valued because they are married and ideally, serving their traditional role as a wife. The same RP folks will then tell you, she's a hoe who's married to some chad only for his money and looks.
