Misandrist (/mɪˈsandrɪst/ noun) - a person who dislikes, despises, or is strongly prejudiced against men.

Not against sex with men. It's like to say that straight women are misogynists for not wanting to sleep with women.

A good simple modern example of this is the "gay son" vs "thot daughter" hypothetical

Purity culture is as much misandric as it is misogynistic. It is specifically the act of having sex with men that labels a person defiled.

Racism? Often justified through the (imagined) threat of males from the out-group sexually defiling females from the in-group.

Homophobia? Men are disgusting and inherently impure, so the act of men having sex with each other is inherently disgusting. That's why some women (including bi women) won't date bi men, and some lesbians won't date bi women. It's specifically the fact they've had sex with men that they're disgusted by.

Transphobia? Trans Women are seen as dirty men attempting to enter the pure and holy garden of femininity. Trans Men (though they have their own struggles) don't get anywhere near as much abuse and hatred in society.

it actually isn't. The nazis had plenty of women supporters. One of the cruelest nazis was a woman who had a lamp made out of the skin of prisoners.

I've seen videos of russian soldiers talking back to their wives on intercepted phones about raping ukrainian women and their wives supported it.

Its actually "benevolent sexism" to think that women can't be just as bad as men.

this is just homophobia against gay men, which is massively common, among men and women. i am trans and bisexual and i'm constantly told by men im' "just gay" and that's not a real thing, and i can notice when a woman learns i'm bi and loses respect for me -- and there's a thread about women refusing to date bi men or hating gay men in this sub like every 2 months.

Internalised misandry has always been present in men of all cultures in all times. The society makes sure that men internalise this hate towards others so that these men can be used for the ulterior motives like wars, control, fear, revolts and so on and so forth.

The real problem is that people don't even want to aknowledge that misandry exists, let alone internalised misandry. Why? because existance of a fundamental hatred towards men would mean that women don't have the exclusive rights to victimhood - which would challenge the feminist and general woke/leftist propaganda.

Sex with a man is seen as bad because it isn’t the natural order of things. Especially if one is religious then it defiantly isn’t. Has nothing to do with hating other men, its just simply disliking the ways they choose to live life.

Which is the same thing when it comes to the thot daughter. Doesn’t mean they have to hate them to be against the way they choose to live. One does not need to hate in order to have a belief.

This is just uncharitable to men. Homosexuality doesn’t necessarily imply people screwing just for funsies as difficult as that is to avoid in the case of gay men. But then the "gay son" vs "thot daughter" hypothetical that's mostly answered by men is actually misogynistic because it assumes the daughter is not screwing her soulmate she wants a family with when she is having sex with males while the "gay son“ may actually have a male soulmate.

It's a stupid question, that's all there is to it, but at least we didn't treat it gospel like you women did with the man and bear thing.

To me, it just seemed like an arbitrary 'you have to pick one.' Personally I'd still pick gay son in that case, and I'd like a duaghter in future. It depends how one defines a 'thot' for example, but assuming the extreme, this isn't as simple as just a promiscuous woman, but essentially being Mia Khalifa. I personally think we should be in an age where even if someone does nudes online, they should not be discriminated in the workplace or with opportunitues, but that's not the world we live in. So her life at that point would be limited against her.

Whilst at least from where I'm from (Australia) being gay isn't really limiting at all, and only means you like other men largely/exclusively. So it's probably 'better' to have a gay son in that case, but either way its another internet shit test

Yeah, men don't really support each other mostly. That's why even groups that try to offer support to men, like Men' Rights Activists or Red Pill, get ignored or mocked by most men. Who themselves are not doing anything to aid their fellow man, but rather only caring about theit own business.

And it's one thing to mind your business, it's another thing to actively mock groups who even dare to help men, YOUR gender. While also being dismissive of, of flat out ignoring women being sexist towards men. Which I have seen a lot. As a gender, men don't have unity like women do. They think we gather all the time plotting the downfall of women, but most men don't give a shit about their fellow man. It's sad, humanity sucks

and if you wanna add another complicated layer to it, the reason gay men get hated and socially rejected is bc a man being gay is seen as feminine and incompatible with manhood (also applies to a ton of straight women who won’t touch a bi guy who says he’s watched gay porn before). they hate gay men because they hate men who are like women, that tracks with all of our insults for them being centered around femininity (“fruity”) or feminine roles (“getting fucked” vs “fucking”)

i can speak to it as a lesbian who gets coded as masculine and therefore gets a bit of respect from a lot of guys who have an issue with gay men, bc at least fucking women is seen as a masculine achievement and something they can directly empathize with. there’s no such saving grace for gay men, they get all the stigma of being seen as feminine with none of the benevolent sexism that women get.
