Exactly what the title says.

When I was growing up, I felt like women had very polarized views of male body hair: either they love it or they hate it.

As a guy who has had hairy legs since I was 11, this gave me great anxiety.

If I had been naturally body-hairless, no big deal, but since I naturally could grow body hair, I was very concerned about what might happen if I met my ideal woman but scared her off because she was not a body hair lover. I felt a lot of pressure to try to adapt my body hair to whomever I might end up dating.

I've always said I would have gladly shaved off all my body hair if that's what my partner preferred. Fortunately, my wife likes being married to a werewolf, so I don't manipulate my body hair in any way other than trimming my pubes from time to time.
