I was catcalled as early as 11yo, I'm guessing because I've always been a bit chubby as a child, and it made my butt be rounder earlier.

When my friends and I were about 16 and got catcalled, we used to yell back "OMG, we're twelve!"
I look young even now and easily passed for 12 at 16 years old. Sometimes it would really freak them out. You'd see them get super embarrassed and they'd usually start trying to hide themselves. (Though occasionally they'd just shrug and move on).
Looking back, it's they knew we were young — very clearly high-schoolers or younger. What is even the logic here? It's okay to catcall a high-schooler as a grown-ass man, but if we are 12, suddenly that makes it gross? Like, what's the age that's fine for sexualizing children? What's the cut off? Is it okay to catcall a 14 year old child, but not a 12 year old child? It boggles the mind. Just more fucked up scrote logic. No point in trying to figure it out

Every day I care less about the "men's mental health crisis"
It doesn't fucking exist. You know what their crisis is? It's their impulsiveness and violence. It's what causes them to commit horrible acts against others AND themselves. They aren't more sad than women as a whole. It's just that when women go through deep depression, they internalize it, maybe isolate themselves, maybe get into drugs if they don't get the help they need. When men go through deep depression, they murder their wife and kids and jump off a bridge. THEY BUILT THAT BOX.
Fuck. I just had a close friend go through horrible trauma because her fiance had a massive manchild meltdown and threatened to hurt himself, left an extremely hurtful "suicide note" (basically "my life sucks my job sucks my family(fiance and dog) sucks. bye") Now he's in a hospital eating jello while her life crumbles around her and I can't even comfort her because I'm just so mad for her.
