He's nothing like my previous boyfriends; he's quieter, calmer, has an interesting job, and honestly perhaps not on the same level of physical well-being.

Quiet, calm, interesting job. that's what you think of the guy you're head over heels in love with? i don't even...

But I'm absolutely in love with him anyway because I've started to admire those qualities more and more.

admire... she admires him. that's how she describes it. because he can give her $$ and will be there. that's it. no tingles, nothing. guarantee she will divorce in <10 years.

these women don't love their husbands. they don't give a fuck who it is, as long as they are "stable".

guarantee she doesn't blow him. "i don't like doing it" aka you don't turn me on enough.

That's a very good indicator actually. And it applies to both sexes. Eating out gets beyond gross when it is a girl you're not attracted to.

[–]blue_27 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Never ... tried that. Wow. I can't even imagine. I always get in trouble for stopping doing that with girls I am attracted to.

I'm never going down on a chick from the practice squad.

[–]2wiseclockcounter 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Can't even imagine that. Never been in that position, and wouldn't follow through if I were. I'm no expert on pheromones, but I would imagine they have a repulsive effect if one isn't triggered to receive them (ie turned on). And holy shit, eating a girl out is as direct a dose of pheromones as you can get.

Nice, I've had a few (alleged) first timers. So that's definitely a confidence booster.

just remember, the alligator mouth eats the larger number. So 10 is what the alligator wants to eat, because it is 'greater' than "in". therefore "in" is 'less than' 10.

She will divorce him in 'lessThan'< 10 years.

[–]McDoner 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

This confuses me even more because what if the alligator turns around??

<10 = less than 10

I hate how women travel in herds that become echo chambers for encouraging disgusting behavior. To get an actually sane women you need to split her off from the herd like a wolf hunting a deer or something, but women are so much more social than us that that's almost impossible to do.

[–]2wiseclockcounter 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

I had an ex who was hot, anti-social, and extremely anti-feminist. A rare combo indeed.

very emotionally volatile. I first discovered TRP after I saw someone bashing it, and my experience with her was the reason I paused and thought about the truth behind the sub. So I guess I can thank her for that, haha (but seriously, I'm still young and very glad to have exited my first and -god willing- last blue pill relationship early in the game) Granted, there is way more I should have done to deal with her shit and stay true to myself, but the whole relationship started on the basis of her unfriendzoning me... so I wasn't in a very solid frame to begin with.

The relationship eventually spiraled into nothing more than pandering to her neediness, emotional instability, righteousness, and insecurities. I was apologizing left and right, revoking my beliefs, and just generally being a fucking wimp because the conflict was so exhausting and constant. The price I paid was my self-respect. I resented myself and her and the life the relationship brought about.

Anything she would declare about the relationship must be true because she knows this, and remembers that, and only her moral scope of the relationship is what determined right and wrong (ie: her feelings dictated the relationship, and mine were simply misguided and wrong because it hurt her that I felt the way I did about her.)

She still loves me, tells me practically every day. And laments the fact that we feel so differently about each other. Meanwhile, she's having a grand old time on the cock carousel, passing it off as "socializing", yet still wants me to come back to her in the future. Fuck that.

While it's possible I slipped into a form of depression independent from all of this (or at least by my doing alone), I think it's about 100 times more likely that my relationship with her played a pretty big role in the worse parts of my recent life. And I think it boils down to self-respect. I let an angry, emotionally manipulative person define who I was. It broke me down and only now am I seeing that I am in this alone, and that that is a good thing. It's empowering and feels great to know the kind of future I can make for myself. One where I won't become someone's whipping post. One where I can remain my own person and stay true to the boundaries I set.

And in case she knows my username... I don't want to hear how much the guy you're fucking looks like me. Keep that deranged fantasy to yourself.

[–]sweetleef 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That encapsulates the majority of long-term relationships.

At some point the guy has to choose between a) giving up the fight, accepting it as unwinnable, and doing the minimum required to just stop the bitching, or b) going through the trouble of finding another woman to repeat the process with.

[–]dreckmal 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]sweetleef 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Awesome. A witty, provocative, open-ended comment.

This is the part where people tell you that you're wrong, so you can lay out all your brilliant, novel reasons why you're right and demonstrate to everybody how enlightened and insightful you are. These dumb brutes don't even know how dumb they are, they need a special person like you to tell them.

Teach them, waldson - show them how important and smart you are. You have value, get the attention you deserve.

We disagree and clash all the time.

One of our biggest head-to-heads is over whether a 3rd party in an affair should share any blame. Our sub does not have a consensus on this, and it's a microcosm of a fairly huge difference in outlook between our members.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow lol

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

There actually were some responses which had attempted to think critically. One:

You made a big mistake by telling him those things. I hope you did not talk to him in similar words, about wanting excitement in the past tense. You see how it would be obvious to him you consider him not exciting, yes? I chuckle to think if my husband had told me, "Bhavini, you must know that when I was younger I was in love with this one pretty woman who was desired by all the men. But now I am more mature and have grown to appreciate the plain woman like you that can cook. Maybe you are proud I selected you?"

What makes it more funny is then he asked all his friends, "Is it prevalent for a woman to not be appreciated for being plain?"

You should find other ways of convincing him he is exciting to you if he really is exciting or let him find someone who will do that. That is my sincere advice for you.

~Bhavini

Now, she doesn't 100% nail it, because unlike women, men don't find members of the opposite sex more attractive simply because other men find find them attractive. So

one pretty woman who was desired by all the men.

Men typically don't give a fuck if a chick is hot by someone else's standards if they personally find the chick attractive. So this bit of egotistical masturbation wouldn't really occur in her analogy.

But other than that, it's a step in the right direction.

[–]anakinastronaut 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Maybe it was more of a way to show how pretty she was? But, yeah, men don't care if other men find the woman attractive. Otherwise "chubby chasers" would be more prevalent.

If they taught "Defense against Sales" in high school or even fucking uni, this shit wouldn't work.

"If you don't wanna hang out tonight, I'll go out with another guy."

The takeaway. Effective vs. noobs; makes you look desperate to veterans.

"Oh, I'm done with that."

A lie that older/used means better (might actually be a good deal if the price is set accordingly LOWER.)

"So where are you taking me tonight?"

Loaded questions suggesting a deal has been made and leading you.

"I wish I knew then what I know now, like srsly 4 realz."

I made mistakes, but since I just acknowledged them verbally (which means nothing), that means that you must completely forgive and forget them.

"You're not one of those pathetic types going after girls 10 years younger, are you?"

Converting salesman's fear into a degrading insult towards the client.

[–]ReadingWhilstHigh20 points 12 years ago [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

Interesting. Do you have any further resources to check out or a book recommendation on this topic? (sales / sales defense. not necessarily anything directly related to personal relationships)

[–]DanReggins 14 points15 points16 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I jumped into sales high into the ladder, as a business owner. So I'm highly biased.

Many sales people -- and I mean high earning sales people -- are fucking chumps with weak sales skills. That said, there are even weaker sales people with even weaker skills making a decent living. Ultimately, a phone, PC, and desk are cheap -- especially if you pay commission only.

I'm going to give you the ultimate sales tl;dr.

Sell something worthwhile that the customer would want. Everything else is bullshit.

The nice thing about that is that you can be completely honest. Here are the features, the pros, and the cons. You decide and come back to me honestly as well. Either I have something you really want or I don't. Nobody gets fucked. (I'm biased because I can build something that people want -- again, business owner, not just sales.)

If you sell shit, you're a crook and you can DIAF.

Things that are worthwhile will largely sell themselves. You're just there to answer questions honestly.

"No, I'm not specifically looking for a serious relationship right now unless I find myself in a situation in which that would clearly be in my best interest. Maybe I don't want to sell to you. Convince me."

Now that's a genuine take away.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That is a great response that keeps the door open for a relationship but makes it sound as if the determining factor is whether THEY (the girl you're talking to) can demonstrate her value to you.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Its amazing how women have managed to, as a group, reach a general consensus on how to explain their awful behavior towards their "betas". This girl is a fucking moron, obviously, and the conceit is incredible. Proud?

They have no idea, or have intentionally excised their ideas about, how men feel and how that comes across. And they don't see the obvious pattern of "young and crazy" and now I settle for you. They have wrapped it all up in this narrative that somehow all females and white knights are now groupthinked into, and they paint a picture of a heroine finding her way...and the men in their lives are supposed to repress and butcher their anger and revulsion and change how they naturally feel; it is in no way the girls responsibility to be attractive, appealing, and non sickening, of course! You just change what you want so you like me no matter what!

Honestly, reading this type of thing makes me think of the south park episode where Cartman continuously rewrites the history of him and Jimmy until he is saving them all from a dragon. Some women really seem to have that sort of narcissitic level of psychosis.

Edit: oh and then the comments saying "men are just insecure" and "I hung out with guys who got pussy all the time and now they are just fine so obviously all guys should be like that and there's no chance that by only hanging out with hot male friends I may have got a teensy bit of a biased sample". And the disdain...

Women just do not care about non alphas. They have zero empathy and zero understanding of what it means to be alone, rejected, and in despair as other guys seem to have the easiest time. Women just write it off...they even add an extra layer of cognitive manipulation by hating guys who struggle to be laid. They despise what they see as weakness.

Fuck them.

[–]RobbenQC 41 points42 points43 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That episode is a perfect illustration of the level of mental gymnastics we're talking about here. This is the feminist have-it-all fairytale they've all been sold since childhood. Slut it up when you're high SMV, go to college to get a degree you'll never use, the settle down and marry a beta provider to pay your debts and provide for you and your children - then divorce him for everything he has if you get bored. It's the golden ticket and the men involved are just actors with a part to play in their own personal fairytale.

[–]trying2testhumanity 75 points76 points77 points 12 years ago* (25 children) | Copy Link

The thing that helps me "get-over" my old BP ways of "treating women right" is consciously reminding myself that they have no guilt. When men fight and raise their voice at a woman, they feel distraught later at their own behavior. Women, as you said, have truly no empathy. No understanding of what men have to go through.

No guilt. No responsibility. No matter what, they are always the victim.

edit: forgot to add: Amen! Fuck them!

double edit: I know I hate most women, don't worry though, I hate most people in general.

[–]LadyLumen 57 points58 points59 points 12 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

What happened to TRP idea of understanding women without hating them? I used to see things in here like "fuck all women," and that was dismissed as a MGTOW attitude. TRP is supposed to be about guys finding ways to improve themselves instead of sitting around and bitching about how much they hate women. Has it really degenerated so much so quickly?

Not all women are sociopaths. The reality is that we live in a society that promotes female irresponsibility while making men responsible for all the terrible things that a woman might do. Naturally, a lot of women have taken advantage of this, because they have been raised and programmed to be this way.

Maybe most women are pieces of shit for acting this way. But the reality is that most people - male or female - will act this way when all accountability and responsibility is thrown out the window.

If you read slave narratives, you will see that anyone, man or woman, nice or not, would become a monster towards their slave after getting total control over a person's life without restraint or consequences.

Men in countries like Afghanistan act with a sociopath level of insanity towards their women because their culture allows it. If a man rapes a woman, it is her fault for introducing the sexual temptation. If a man wants to kill his wife, all he has to do is make up some accusation of adultery and he's good to go.

Does the existence of this behavior mean that all men are pigs? No. What it means, is that if you give one group of people total power without responsibility, most of them will turn into human monsters.

So the problem is that the balance of power today has been disrupted between men and women. Women have all the social power with little of the responsibility. TRP is supposed to be about finding a way to correct that imbalance by empowering men at a social level - this includes encouraging men to have self respect, to go to the gym, maintain frame, and try to have power in the relationship dynamic.

However, simply bitching about how all women are sociopaths is an over generalization, is not constructive and is not in line with the original TRP ideals of what this subreddit used to be.

[–]trying2testhumanity 10 points11 points12 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I'm not perfect. You're right, I shouldn't be so bitter.

Sorry, but I just still have a bad taste in my mouth. Moreover, yesterday on TRP, they were talking about that stripper who fucks and cums on the faces and pussies of about-to-be-married "Ladys"

It still turns my stomach into a knot, especially when I see my friends at work and in life go down paths I've gone down... knowing I cannot help them.

[–]1BaltoSquadGuy 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

This right here. I've watched a woman manipulate and slowly trap one of my best friends. I tried to warn him on some things, not specifically mentioning TRP. He's so sucked in that his response to everything is "you've had a couple of serious girlfriends", "you moved in with girlfriend #2", "you wanted to propose", implying that my mistakes render me unable to give him advice. It's frustrating and I'm starting to really not like his gf

[–]trying2testhumanity 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Absolutely nothing you can ever do for them : (

When I think of brotherly love, that's the kind of thing I think of: something I see another guy go through and it cuts him deep, so much so that he's jaded- and never the same again. There are some things women are incapable of understanding because of our biological differences.

[–]Heuristics 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Unfortunately people cannot be told the truth, they must see it for themselves.

[–]LadyLumen 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]trying2testhumanity 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]-Awake- 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I support this post 100%. I have a friend into TRP that constantly woman bashes and I feel like he doesn't fully understand the positive side of this forum yet. I've tried to tell him several times that he's still dealing with the "bitter" of the pill and to focus on how TRP can improve his life, but he seems intent on hating women rather than understanding how to properly have an LTR, fling, or even one night stand with one

[–]Endorsed Contributorvandaalen 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Never thought about it that way. Great new input. Thanks for the inspiration.

I couldn't agree with the above more.

Which means most of the assholes you deal with on a daily basis are going to be women if you're living in the western world. Because women, generally speaking, have managed to coast through life treating their fellow man like tools who's only value is derived by what that woman can gain from them.

This sub regularly sees stories of women who abuse their default position of power to get what they want regardless of the cost to anyone else. Almost every other sub on reddit is filled with the same tales followed by the most amazing hamsterization one can imagine which somehow turns these stories into what is considered decent, moral and normal.

It's no wonder so many posters in this sub "hate women". I don't think it's wise to hate categorically but when it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

It's almost too easy to spot the hamsters in every day life, and once spotted, they're easy to categorize, judge, and dismiss.

Women, as you said, have truly no empathy

Yes and no... They understand others' emotions, but instead of feeling those emotions themselves and sympathizing, they just use that knowledge to manipulate people.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That's sympathy, not empathy

[–]ibuprofiend 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Empathy has both parts: "empathy -- the ability to understand and share the feelings of another" ... from the Oxford American dictionary Macs use. Women do the first part well, but don't do the second part at all.

If you can take a car apart, but cant put it back together again, you can't really be said to be a mechanic can you? So if someone can only do half the definition of something doesn't mean they've done the word justice at all.

[–][deleted] 22 points23 points24 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Here, here! I treat women like they don't exist. I show no emotion to them, nor do I ever intend to. I also don't intend to bang any of them ever again. Not worth being #100 and having them think I may be "the one". I'd rather stick my d*** in a meat grinder than bang another western woman.

This is so true. I don't tell women my job anymore. I do well, but what good can possibly come out of letting them know that. I don't want to give their hamsters any excuse to think beta.

[–]Seafor_c4 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women don't despise betas. They don't respect them and therefore use and abuse them. There is a difference.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women just do not care. They have zero empathy and zero understanding of what it means to be alone, rejected, and in despair as other guys seem to have the easiest time. Women just write it off...they even add an extra layer of cognitive manipulation by hating guys who struggle to be laid. They despise what they see as weakness.

Fuck them.

Extremely well said.

She found someone she could see building a life with?

and

My life before the age of ~25, I did not know where I was going to be one year to the next. Therefore I did not start any relationships with any men. And during this time I attended many going away parties for other people who needed to follow their edu or career opportunities.

This was their attempts. The first comment supposes that this woman, who is 28, has JUST NOW found someone worth getting in a relationship with. That's a solid DECADE of being a legal adult, and not being able to find someone worth the time of day.

The second comment (probably in address of the gall of the person who would have us believe the first answer) was that, until 25, they weren't looking for meaningful relationships with men. This is more believable, but it's not a justification I personally could live with if it was directed at me.

I KNOW you were sexually active during this time when you weren't looking for relationships, and as a Red Pill man, I have a whole litany of problems with this, ranging from principled objections to practical skepticism.

You know, there is a gradient for these things. If a guy does this it's called "playing the field" so that's the terminology I'll use here. If a GIRL is playing the field and not especially interested in getting serious with a guy... at 14-17... ok. That's not unusual, and there is a better chance this GIRL'S idea of "playing the field" is limited to making out with guys.

But to extend this adolescent behavior this DEEP into one's adult life has got to go against some of these women's instincts. I mean, grow the fuck up already! You can tell this doesn't work out for women as they preemptively explain themselves and gripe about the fallout on the interwebs... so why the fuck aren't there voices in the female community warning of this danger?

Because they don't want to admit they're wrong, and they don't even like the women they would be advising anyways. They still see women (as a whole) in such competitive lenses that they simply don't want to give them the rock solid advice they need. So in this case, the post-wall feminists are like drug dealers pushing a harmful drug on some ignorant chump. The chump wants to be fed the lies so they can plead ignorance later, and the feminist doesn't have their best interests at heart. The cycle continues.

[–]kawanami -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Because the analogy made no sense, did you read it? What does having casual sex have to do with political corruption? She's not doing anything wrong by enjoying sex in her youth.

[–]sweetleef 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

She's not doing anything wrong by enjoying sex in her youth.

The whole point of the thread is that, yes, she was apparently doing something "wrong".

[–]kawanami 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Her wrong doing didn't stem from having casual sex, it's from expecting her beta husband to be proud of her for using him.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

[–]kawanami 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The male penis is shaped like a mushroom, which works to pull out sperm already in the vagina. In order for that to be the evolutionarily advantageous physiology to have, early human or proto human women must have been having lots of sex with different partners... sluts.

"You should be greatful - you low status, money dispensing, asexual little gnome. My golden pussy's been reamed out by the hottest and the best and now you can lick up the busted leftovers. You should thank me." What in the mother of all fuck. GTFO. Our society's cultivation of utterly egomaniacal, obliviously selfish women shows no signs of correcting itself.

I had one-itis really bad for a girl I dated in college. She, unfortunately, was more interested in traveling - i.e., fucking lots of new guys - and living out a life that featured and benefitted from lots of interest and attention from new exciting (and very horny) men.

And, you see, it was always going to be that way because she was smart and young and attractive and, even if she wasn't always young, she would always be smart and attractive and given flattering, servile male attention because she'd always been smart and attractive and that was the only life she'd ever known. Why would that change? Besides, the entire culture grovels to women and tells them they're never getting older, they're only getting better.

I got better and she got fatter. And older. Four years after she dropped me to continue her sex tour of the Western hemisphere and after not contacting me even once in the entire four years' time, she contacted me using some of the language I'd used with her in my old love letters. It was about a month before her 27th birthday. I never responded.

[–]DanReggins 52 points53 points54 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Reminds me of a time I was nailing a single mom in her early 30's in exchange for a place to stay when in town.

She had previously been a gymnast, but had one of "those" pregnancies -- mostly destroyed her body. Kid was a bastard child with dad completely absent aside from occasional support payments.

She told me that the guy she'd want to have a serious relationship with would be a world traveller because she'd "like to live in places like Spain a few months a year."

I told her straight up -- the kind of guy that could afford that could also afford a 19 year old virgin.

"Oh, I know.. but that's what I want and I'm going to try to get it."

She didn't.

[–]RobbenQC 33 points34 points35 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]sweetleef 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Her goal was to live out some cosmo-magazine fantasy bullshit of traveling to "exotic" locales and sipping cocktails on the beach.

Funny that her conclusion wasn't that she had to find a way to earn a lot of money to pay for that, but instead that she had to find a man to pay for that for her.

[–]DanReggins 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]grelknar 51 points52 points53 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Sidetrack, but

I mean, they thought men were the only hunters for decades until someone did an analysis of cave paintings in france comparing the hand marks in the paintings to the hand sizes of the male and female bodies they found around those sites. The hand sizes were too small to be male, indicating women painted something like 75% of the cave paintings of hunting. Which is indicative of women engaging in hunting, but anthropologists who discovered the caves about a century ago assumed they must have been done by men because women in their society did not hunt.

Or maybe the women painted about hunting because they weren't busy actually hunting. Who was the idiot that decided the person painting must be the person hunting, man or woman? Unfalsifiable claims aren't science and this shit needs to stop showing up in journals.

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points31 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Or maybe.... it wasn't women at all! Perhaps it was adolescent MEN! Or maybe..... adult men with smaller type genetics but higher intelligence so they could strategize how to best hunt food! There is a novel thought.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Anthropology works backwards.

They assume they have all of the answers, that every human on the planet has an equal ability in everything. Then they work from there and get some of the retard logic you see in that paragraph.

It didn't always work that way, but political correctness in universities, which fund these studies, is the reason for it.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Never your fault! Always the victim!

And why hasn't anybody over there asked her: "Do you deep throat his dick and take it up the ass like you have with previous men? No? Well geez lady...and you wonder why then he's pissed off??"

[–]TheSKSpecial 42 points43 points44 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I do wonder why he won't talk to OP about it. It's possibly irrational insecurities and/or sexist views of what kind of girl has a wild youth, and he's embarrassed.

Of course. It's his fault for being upset he's paired up with the town bike. If only he would just suck it up and be happy this slore of a princess chose him.

[–]lesbianDREAMS 32 points33 points34 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

In a way though it is his fault. He doesn't have to be dating this woman if he is uncomfortable with her sluttiness. He's just afraid of being alone and doesn't have options like she does. It's why so many betas settle and fuck themselves over.

[–]TheSKSpecial 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I had an ex who was like this. I'm glad that shit is over and done with. It wasn't until I came across TRP I could put it in to proper perspective, but I was very resentful that "all the fun has been had", and well, I was a 26 year old chump on a six figure salary who could buy her a house.

I had the same reaction as this beta, I was pissed. But I put up with it, for a while.

[–]icanteventhecat 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I did too. It hurt more than she'll ever know when she told me how my defining quality was that I was the nicest guy she ever dated (fortunately it was mostly lost time and effort rather than money) and by no means the best looking, biggest, or best performing.

[–]ERP_BLARP 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Same deal here. "Oh you're so NICE and CARING", but then why the slow decline into disrespect?

I'm glad I found this sub. It put a lot of things in to context for me, and now I can focus on being a man and assert what I want, and not feel guilty doing so.

[–]icanteventhecat 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

There wasn't even a slow decline into disrespect. She even had a higher sex drive than I did, which was what kept me around for way too long.

But once that seed of doubt got planted, once she implied "you're only here to repair the damage, because the guy I really want isn't around anymore," I had checked out. This absolutely crushed my self-esteem, her being my first LTR. I'm only coming out of it years later.

[–]ERP_BLARP 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That sucks. The one I'm referring to wasn't my first LTR, but it was the one I was most attached to. I had severe oneitis for this girl. I seriously thought we were going to get married and that it was perfect etc, etc, even as the walls were crumbling around me. I wanted to end it because she was fucking pissing me off in a big way but I just held on hoping it would 'work out'. In the end she made the call, but I felt half an inch away from doing the same. I was in huge denial.

After this, I did a heap of online dating and bedded some girls afterwards, which was great but had it's own problems (I wasn't any good at spinning plates, the girls I liked didn't like me back, the ones who liked me I wasn't as interested in). I was more Alpha with the girls I didn't like and more Beta with the girls I did. It had the opposite effect I was aiming for! So fucking annoying, and I had no idea why.

Time heals all wounds, it was a 3 month affair and maybe 1.5 years to not feel a twinge thinking about it, sleeping with other girls helps a lot to speed up that process I found. The most important part is that TRP put that fucked up beta experience of mine into a perspective that means for me going forward, I'll be better able to conduct myself and get what I want when I start looking again.

[–]MdPhdVictor 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]ERP_BLARP 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Also I love the post that's like "Why do men buy VIP passes to clubs and football games? Specifically because other people AREN'T up in that club." The exclusivity, the feeling that it is a privilege to access it that only you or a very small number of people have had, is one of the major reasons a man spends his time and money wifing up a girl, because they have bought into the social narrative that marriage makes your love exclusive, powerful, individual, and secure. The entire point of paying more for VIP (which is an interesting analogy for marriage because you are basically paying more for the same pussy, but betas love the social proof that comes from having a pretty wife / feeling that one person thinks you are important enough to commit to for life) is to keep other dudes OUT.

If I'm paying 40$, I don't care if you put me in the general floor at a great concert. But if I'm paying 4000$, then I better be in the fucking VIP of the VIP at that show. This analogy has its shortcomings, but it is amusing to think about.

[–]cooltrip 21 points22 points23 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No madam, you are not finally choosing that beta over other men; but none of the previous Alphas you attempted to get accepted you, and so now, since you have no options, you have to accept a beta.

You gave the best of yourself to all those Alphas of your youth, not to betas.

Now that you've learned what the important things of life and of men are, you want that beta.

Sorry madam, you chose in the past what you considered best; so your past choices are the truest ones, and make your present choices false.

Why is the beta you currently want to marry upset?

Why, you wonder?? You should perfectly know there shouldn't be a reason at all, other than BECAUSE HE'S FREE TO REJECT YOU.

She's trickle truthing. She wants to go back to the alpha cock after 1.5 years of beta. Pure hypergamy, she has stable bf and she wants to test the water for some d on the side.

I see no other reason for her to disclose this info to her husband. Surely she must know that men don't value infidelity. She's trying to live vicariously through her past, and wants to go back in time.

[–][deleted] 24 points25 points26 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The biggest concern I have with this thread, and something that hasn't been touched on here, is this comment:

You made a big mistake by telling him those things.

Two common reactions whenever a person, guy or girl, is confronted with someone opposed to sleeping around during youth: the first is ignorant confusion. Lots of people haven't done the research into how damaging premarital sex can be for an LTR, but it shouldn't be difficult to grasp why hedonism and insecurity (the only two reasons a person would bed hop) make for unattractive personal qualities, especially for the future mother of your children. The second, as we see here, is trickle truth or outright lying. After all, you can't change your past -- if a guy has a problem with it, what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Right?

As our culture continues its march towards unrepentant pleasure-seeking, this sort of lying through omission is going to become more and more commonplace. It's been said before but bears repeating: do not trust your significant other to be honest about her sexual history. If partner count matters to you, as it should, then you'll need to come up with ways to more accurately predict their past.

[–]Areimanes 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You made a big mistake by telling him those things.

They instinctively know men don't want to hear how they fucked alphas in their past, but they can't quite put their finger on why that's the case. The hamster won't let them realize it.

Not too long ago, when I was still completely plugged in, I got this advice that "there's a time in a woman's life when they mature and they start to appreciate guys like you, just be patient", and momentarily I felt comfort, that inevitably I would finally be appreciated for being who I was, for trying to do what I felt was the right thing and putting others' needs before mine instead of being punished for it over and over. She would tell me how lucky I would be over all those jerks she dated in the past.

And then I felt something. Something felt off, way off. All those comments described so well how I felt back then. I'd rather MGTOW or hell even sex escorts from time to time if despite lifting and improving my game I failed to spin any plates, than to be settled for.

I wish people would stop quoting pseudopsychology as "biology". Or just stop quoting it at all.

I bet you do. I bet you do.

I'd sooner date someone with well managed HIV than with Herpes, but that's just me.

That's just because you're a fucking idiot along with everyone else in that thread. This is who OP is taking advice from. He might as well inject the HIV into his bloodstream. All in the name of love of course.

[–]Endorsed ContributorUrsusG 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He's right though. Read up on HIV / herpes transmission rates with condom usage.

"has an interesting job, and honestly perhaps not on the same level of physical well-being. I'm absolutely in love with him anyway because I've started to admire those qualities more and more." ie after fucking tons of hot hunks, she wants a man who makes MONEY!

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There is nothing inherently wrong with the behaviour. Have fun when you are young and accept that if you want a long term stable relationship you may have to settle in some ways. Just don't tell your partner - ever!

Its the total and utter lack of insight that blows my mind. And the fact that she shared her past with her partner and was surprised he isn't overly happy about what she said? And the fact that she posted these comments on ask women?

[–]DonaldtheDefiant 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'd dump her.. "Yeah I used to fuck all these guys but none of them can bring a paycheck and clean house like you, honey. You should be proud a girl like me chose a guy like you!" See ya bitch.

The only solution to this problem (of a woman having ridden the carousel), from a man's perspective, is: don't beg for her love, make her really difficult and expensive to get your love; make her beg for your love and take much more efforts than she ever took for any other man before; make her do things for getting your love that she never did to any other man; treat her like having lost all her worth after other men's use; make her really prove you are the best man; behave yourself Alpha, never non-Alpha. Because this is the only nice and good thing a man can get from a woman and a woman is able to give a man: her acknowledgement that he is the best man.

Is she really that ignorant?

"...not on the same level of physical well being." -- All other positives are behaviors or attributes he brings through career.

She's attracted to what he can do for her, but on a base level not attracted to him.

Sad. Sad, because she probably doesn't get how duplicitous and self-serving her behavior is.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nothing to see here but a gold digging whore.

[–]McDoner -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm really not upset with this girl. She was honest to him. Her behavior as somebody referenced on here already, " the village bicycle" is what it is. It's in the past. She wonders why he's upset, and while that is agitating that she doesn't possess the ability to think outside of herself, isn't it expected from these irrational women? Are we really surprised? If anything, this guy is being such a little bitch. He's upset because he hasn't had the same fun that she's had. He's upset because he sees the truth of his worth. He's the nice guy. This guy isn't pounding pints while devouring whole turkey legs and singing bar songs in a brothel (manly things).

No guy is excited to hear that jake from Panama City 2007 was balls deep in his gf while his friend Rico recorded it. But at the same time I just think this guy doesn't have many trophies of his own. Otherwise it would roll off his back by the next day when he texts his friend about Sally and Rachel from Key West 2007. I hope the best for this guy, but it's just another reminder to me, bitches ain't shit but hoes n tricks. :) lol

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Actually he still should dump her at the very least since she's very likely to cheat on him if they get married. So I'd still be upset if I was dating this hoe because of the fact that I need to leave her and cancel our fucking wedding. And if I was in love with her then yeah, that would make me sad, since you know, I'm only human and all that.

Oh my gawd! You're right, what has my life come to. ...

On a more serious note. There are no alpha and beta people, only behaviors. No one is either all of the time.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would say there are alpha people. These are the people like Putin or Obama who show lots alpha-like characteristics.

You remind of of the comic book guy from The Simpsons.

Given that is what came to mind after reading but two of your responses you might want to go away and think about that.

As a red pill guy I'm very self aware.

Edit: walking into a subreddit I'm not familiar with and doling out tired and useless factoids that are not correctly grasped by yourself rather than the audience isn't something I would do.

Your attempt at reframing the comic book guy onto me was vaguely touched upon here.

If this sub disgusts you, why are you even here?

People come here to improve themselves. If it's a strategy that you see as born to fail then leave us to our devices so we can, from your perspective, fail.

No time wasted on either of our hands.
