The best sex of my life was with a guy who's pretty much exactly what you described, but thinner - probably 5'8" and 110lbs. As for getting laid, both are at a disadvantage but I think the fat guy is worse off. That could just be my personal preference though, since a lot of women get weird about height.

Overall, both would need charisma, average/+ looks facially, good hygiene and to know how to dress themselves in a way that's flattering.

Seriously though, it depends on much more than that and on the individual woman's taste. Even if he were shorter than me I would prefer that. I never found either short men or skinny men as unattractive as other women seem to. In contrast, a chubby/fat man has to be extremely charming for me to find them attractive.

In my experience, it really depends on the person. I always thought my type was tall, curvy brunette girls but my very first crush in highschool was a short redhead. If we're talking hypotheticals people will give all sorts of opinions, but you might be suprised who they end up with in reality.

I feel like as a chubby tall guy, there are more women attracted to me than to a short wiry dude, all else being equal. But the girls who like me would consider the wiry dude, and the girls who prefer the wiry dude won't touch me with a ten foot pole.

A surprising amount of women don't give a fuck about fat if you're tall and muscular underneath it.

Is the fat-ish dude slobbish or muscle with fat? If it’s the latter, I’d go for him. Someone who’s 120 is just way too skinny for my liking, even at that height. If the fat dude isn’t fit at all...I’m not sure. I’d probably still go for him.

I worked at a night club for several years and watched the mating dance daily. A taller chubby guy will be more successful with most women all things being equal. Very few women are into really small men unless there is some sort of wealth and status of setting it.

Chubby and tall. I LOVE thick men. My bf is 6ft and weighs 241. He is working on losing more weight, he wants to get down to 210, but I think he is delicious as he is now. I am lean bodied and thin on thin doesn’t work. A skinny woman cuddling a skinny man? Imagine cuddling a pile of busted IKEA furniture. Yeah. Pretty unpleasant. (My exes were thin.) Not to mention how weak skinny men are. If you struggle to pick me up (I am 5’7” and 141lbs) then it’s an automatic turn-off. My thick boyfriend can pick me up with one hand with ease. He doesn’t tremble or shake from weak muscles.

I have noticed that tall, skinny, lanky men are very popular amongst most women and seen as attractive. I have no idea why the typical woman likes starving looking men. I’ll pass. Eat more and go to the gym, or go away.

And skinny guys are more attractive than fat guys anyways. Even my dream fantasy man wouldn't be jason momoa ripped or anything close to it.

I think the fat dude could pull different types of women. Probably average to below average fat women would flock to him. The skinny short guy has a broader range of interest.

I will take my 6ft 250lb husband any day. He’s just so big and protective looking. He even wears a shoe size 14 and his hands are basketball sized. He’s a mountain of a man who I get turned on by just standing next to him. He makes me want to do everything he says just by his imposing stature. It was a nice bonus because I didn’t know his height while emailing online. It was quite a pleasant shock when I first saw him and he filled the door frame completely.

That being said it wasn’t the only thing I would have loved him short and thin but it definitely was an added bonus!

I'd have to say the tall chubbier guy would be more attractive to women, though it depends on what his exact body shape is. If he has the "teddy bear" look like you know, big chest and big gut, there are plenty of women who are into that. If he's otherwise thin but just has a big stomach then the skinny guy would probably have the advantage.

Women are notoriously bad at being honest about what they're attracted to - as evidenced by the disparity between how many women admit they're attracted to bad boys and how many women sleep with bad boys.

Most women like feeling small, and like feeling like they're with someone strong that could look after them in a crisis. Although many will choose the bony guy from a photo, when in his presence she won't feel the way she wants to. She might not choose the large guy from a photo, he has a better chance of making her feel the way she wants to feel around a man.
