No but i assume in your OP I am also picturing myself as a man with baldness versus a woman with periods? Or am I supposed to be a woman facing one or the other? Either way, no. But tbh my periods are not that bad. Not heavy and some cramping but nothing too bad that ibuprofen can’t fix for a day or two.

Everyone male is going to think (I assume). Fucking hell, I'm not bleeding out of my genitals and feeling like shit once a month.

Being bald to a woman is horrible, but it's totally different if you're male. It's not good. You wouldn't queue up for it. But it's nowhere near as debilitating as if you're female.

It's impossible for a woman to understand or truly appreciate this.

Fuck no. I get one or two periods a year that last about two weeks and are extremely painful. Still wouldn't trade it to go bald.

Oddly enough, once I hit menopause I started to get female pattern baldness, which is like male pattern but rarely goes all the way to a totally bald patch. I'll probably end up as a little old lady with just a few wisps of grey hair.

TBQH I don't give a shit any more. The trick to living is either accept what you are given by fate or accept the accommodations you have to make to deal with what you were given. Baldness ain't so bad. Periods... ordinary healthy ones with no medical issues... ain't so bad. If I had both of them at once I'd deal with it just fine. You youngsters gotta learn acceptance.

I scarcely had more than one menstruation per year and they were pretty mild—I can live with it.

Going bald would give me a good excuse to just shave it and wear wigs though which I've been wanting to try for a while but if I don't like it I loose the hair I've been growing for over a decade.

It should also be noted that androgenetic alopecia is hardly a male constant: it mostly affects those with blood from around Europe and North Africa: this map is about indigenous population only: as you can see it mostly doesn't happen.

Facial hair is also not a male constant by the way; there's a reason it's hard to find a picture of a native American with a beard: they very rarely grow one.

I'd pick bald. I can rock a shaved head. Or get a wig or whatever. My periods are hell and I cannot be on hormonal birth control. Itd be amazing to not be constantly anemic and not have to worry about blacking out from pain at work.

This is not a great analogy, because all healthy, fertile females have periods, whereas only about 50% of men have male pattern baldness.
