I would argue in a committed relationship, if you tell your partner that you will be exclusive with them and then do not honor that agreement, it is you in the wrong, regardless of gender. If the relationship is not exclusive then your comment has more validity.

Furthermore, if you purposely mislead your partner that the relationship is happy to extract what you want out of it while also cheating, its twice as bad, again, regardless of gender.

So why wouldn't I hate both the woman who betrayed me and the man who took part? I wouldn't extend it to every woman because that's stupid, but the enemy is not just other men. Men and women have to take responsibility for their choices appropriately.

But in terms of your example, it's usually best to just amputate everyone associated with the cheating from your life. The relationship can sometimes be repaired, but absent a heroic effort? Life's too short. Especially if you're ever dealing with someone who uses the betrayal as a weapon.

Not RP/BP, but lemme tell you something from my point of view. The women are absolutely irrelevant. I have witnessed four types of women, though it's more like 2 types with intro/extro variants.

There is barely any difference from one girl to the next despite these four types. I've essentially been with the same 3 girls since my teen years.

You're absolutely right that the problem isn't the women, but nobody with an understanding of women cares about losing one specific woman.
