So let's start at the basics.

TRP are fundamental masculinitists. Facts and science are just something that they mention to sound more logical, but actually have very little relation to TRP. It might sound as if they rely on scientific evidence or anything, but actually they just make shit up as they go along. It does sound logical, but it isn't logically sound.

It's flat-earther logic applied to the sexual market. Facts that don't fit into their preconceived notions are made up by the global feminist conspiracy and anecdotes by internet tough guys are the objective truth. For example there's a number of women the report rape, but guys never brag about raping women therefore the women must be lying. Oh and if she is blackout drunk or doesn't fight back it's her own fault and not Real Rape.

TBP are people that call them out on it.

But let's get even more to the basics.

Sometimes parents tell their kids that they've got to be good hardworking citizens and if they do that they will find a good wife.

Everyone knows that it's just a way to motivate kids to get a good education, but not for TRP. They took everything a hundred percent and are now mad that their parents lied to them and told them that Santa Claus exists and that being hardworking without having a enjoyable or interesting personality, without taking care of their appearance, without having to leave their basement and without having to take a shower will be enough to get laid with multiple super models per week (even though that's just their wishful thinking and not the actual message).

Society also told them that women like guys that are interesting, fit, cool, confident, charming, masculine, handsome, well dressed and nice, but all those things except being nice take effort so all they've heard is that part. They've got a very selective way of filtering information and even nowadays they will link to studies that all in all disagree with TRP, but one line might fit into TRP theory if you ignore the context and reinterpret it based on whatever you want to fit it.

And even though looks and masculinity matter in literally every mainstream media no one explicitly told them that looks matter (although it obviously happened but their selective hearing completely ignored it) so they are even angrier because they couldn't have ever realized that good looking people have it easier in life.

They've been lied to and then found TRP that tells them the "truth".

And that truth is just the same wishful thinking as earlier, but in the opposite direction. Instead of "just be nice" they switched it to "just don't be nice" and think they've cracked the code.

Two circlejerks on the Internet got really annoying, one got really big (on Reddit) and largely outnumbered the other (on Reddit), and trolled it. Purple came along as a compromise bc fighting was frigging annoying and pointless.

The argument on both sides is "You actually outnumber me and are ruining society!"

The purple argument is "No, both of you are, even if I agree with one of you more, your messaging is terrible and you look really stupid and pathetic to outsiders." OR "Both suck equally." We haven't really come to a consensus.

But, it's mostly used for people to disassociate themselves from the absolute cringe circlejerks that tend to happen bc The Internet Is The Bottom Of All Barrels.

I would say there are few actual purples/no-pillers here. Too evolved of a perspective to expect on the Internet.

PPD used to be about a more moderate version of TRP. Discussing the nuances of AWALT and hypergamy, and toning down the blatant sexism.

Now it's just a forum for any gender based issue. It was briefly dominated by incel posts, but the mods took executive action before it became another r/incels.

The views seem to be pretty polarized. RPers hate everything BP, BPers hate everything RP. Fruitful discussions are rare because each side just wants to vent about the other side.

It's essentially a discourse on the modern open SMP. It can basically be boiled down to RedPillers calling out the SMP for what it is while also calling out the hypocrisy of the mainstream narrative regarding the SMP, BluePillers then respond by making a "satire" sub specially to mock RedPillers, why? I guess Blues are just really butthurt over the way Red observe the SMP, perhaps it destroys their pre-conceived "there's someone to everybody" bubble, or Blues are intentionally trying to downplay/defend female hypergamy and sexual strategy.
