Men are expected to initiate most/all first interaction, and women seem to usually take the passive roll when it comes to dating. I have spoken to a few girls my age(18-21) who are either recently single, or single and looking(more like waiting), and have brought up the question of "If you see a guy you might be interested in, why don't you say something"?

They just dance around the question, and say "He probably has girls telling him that all the time" or "Idk what to say".

Even the most attractive of my male friends don't have girls just coming up and approaching them, so thats pretty rare from what i've seen.

I asked one girl yesterday "Then what do you do? Just look cute and hope a guy eventually says something? Y'all have it easy." She agreed but said, looking cute isn't easy. Idk all of what women do to look attractive so i won't say anything on that.

This leads to my next point. These girls want to approached but at the same time don't want to be approached.

Either on reddit or in life, women seem to have an objection to being approached in places that would be pretty good to meet new women.

At Starbucks: I go there to get coffee, read, etc. and get on with my day.

At Bars: I came to dance with my friends, drink, maybe flirt around, but i don't want guys trying to come up to me.

At Clubs: I came to just dance and drink, i don't want to be bothered.

Out and About at "x" location: I came there to just read, listen to music, 'mundane' tasks, i don't want to be bothered.

So it seems like women have all these objections to being approached in situations that would be perfect for meeting new people.

What use is it to beat around the bush and act like you just want a friendly conversation or just happened to meet when you are actually interested in being more than friends?

Rarely, I think, do things just happen in dating. Because women take a passive role most of the time, men are to plan their approach to women, meaning it never just happens and we have to put on a non-nonchalant face to make it feel like it was all by chance.

Edit: Why the fuck do y'all keep saying "Chad"? That shit is so cringe worthy.
