This would mean that most men who go out for a night on the town with the intention of getting laid end up succeeding, at least most of the time. I can't prove anything but from what I've seen, this is definitely not the case. And this doesn't even count the many more men who are more introverted and who have a hard time going to bars and clubs and such places in the first place.

I think that most men can get relationships, but that most men can't get casual sex with any kind of ease or consistency.

The average man has 9 sexual partners in a lifetime. Assuming a sexual career of 50 years, that is one every 5.5 years.

A thing which can only be obtained 1.8 times per decade strikes me as not particularly easy to obtain.

See this is part of the problem. You shame men for not being able to find a partner, calling to question their maturity and social aptitude. Their natural 'fitness' comes into question, and they feel like something is inherently wrong with them.

This is why the Red Pill exists in the first place. The goal is getting men to understand their potential and give them control over their bodies and minds.

Of course any average guy can find casual sex with some random chick who he isn't interested in. The point is learning how to attract women he IS interested in. The point is CHOOSING, rather than being good with what you got.

No. Getting casual sex is not easy for the average man. Getting casual sex is easy for the above average man, the top 20% man. An average man can get casual sex once in a while, maybe once a year, if he works hard and basically fakes it, and happens to be in the right place at the right time.

I think the main problem with this entire premise is the idea that sex is something to "get" that will somehow increase a man’s value (and decrease a woman’s) Vagina’s are not receptacles for respect; you should not respect a man more because he’s having casual sex, and you should not respect a woman less for the very same thing.

Women choose their partners, Men choose their partners; casual sex is something that two people (or more!) do together, for pleasure with no romantic attachments. That is all.

I get annoyed at these baiting questions; do you think that taunting TRP will make them think casual sex as anything less than a valuable commodity? Do you think that baiting questions like this will end rape culture, or the perception that men aren’t responsible for rape or sexual assault because of their urge to “get” sex? Calling a bunch of already clearly angry men, weird and insecure isn’t actually furthering any sort of conversation, it’s only making these men angrier, and reinforcing their belief that sex is a commodity.

Overall, I think it’s the overblown value placed on sex (by society, i.e. the patriarchy) is what causes these problems, and you are only furthering that view by making posts like this!

How about you define average properly first, maybe post some pics and then we talk? I'm pretty sure that most of my friends and I aren't below average, maybe some a little below and some a little above? Definitely not far from average (if below). Still, only a couple of them gets laid consistently.

And if it was easy, that wouldn't be the case. Most bar nights are just drinking, and I still remember how useless tinder was - almost no replies, 0 matches when traveled to a big city for a week.

It just doesn't sound easy. I could assume I'm below average easily, that wouldn't hurt my ego or anything. I just objectively don't think it's the case (prolly shouldn't upload a pic, that can end bad for me lol), and I do get girlfriends/ltrs. The last one even progressed from something that started with no commitment. But it's nothing close to getting laid regularly and casually often.

What's your evidence for this assumption? Pretty much everyone in a developed nation uses the internet nowadays, and reddit has over 234 million unique users. With usage numbers that big, the sample starts to get awfully close to the population.

I disagree. I think for average-looking men, regular casual sex is obtainable if they develop the right skillset and put themselves in circles where casual sex happens. I do not think it is easy or natural for them, for the most part.

This is one of RP's (and the manosphere's) biggest problems in a nutshell.

They are huge on the SMV principle, but they do a fundamentally terrible job of self-assessment when they place themselves within it.

The fact that they cannot get laid even tho they try is proof positive that they are coming to the marketplace with not enough to offer. If the market is self-correcting (as economists like to imagine markets are) and they are repeatedly coming in last... well, they are not competitive.

Additionally, it stands to reason that if you want to claim the market is self-correcting, than the average man would be having average amounts of sex.

If you're not having average amounts of sex, you are not average.
