Dumbasses (a) fail to discern between Instagram whores and real (i.e. professional) whores and their websites (pro tip: look for the disclaimer on a real whore's site) and (b) think that Instawhores are looking for sex rather than validation. Meh.

You could argue that while women seek to "trade up" to a man of higher status, men seek to do the same with hotter women... Certainly plausible but ultimately a superficial reading.

I don't send dick pics to people so I'm not sure what the appeal of it is. I think these men aren't so much trying to win these women with dick pics, as much as they are fulfilling their own fetish - possibly related to risk, exposure, power, or something else.

If the boot were on the other foot, if a woman were sending a man nude pictures. Would it be wrong for him to inform her boyfriend/husband? I feel in both settings it is acceptable. It sucks for the guy to be shamed like that, but it is the natural consequence of sending someone dick pictures.

I'm not a Red Piller but I'm going to answer this one anyway. Men are not hypergamous in the sense that they are only attracted to women of higher status than them, but they do want to attract the hottest woman that they can. You can call it optimization rather than hypergamy. Of course, the men who send these pics don't realistically think that they are going to attract a hot model by doing this, but they wish that they could attract this kind of woman, which is why you see guys even in decent relationships doing this kind of thing. Many men in satisfactory relationships still wish they could do better than the partner they have.

I have no problem with this. What they are doing is sexual harassment. Both genders shouldn't be sending pictures like this without permission from the one receiving the picture.
