I know it's hard to get behind something that basically lumps you into a category you'd never want to be associated with. And further, I do see a lot of irrationality and overly aggressive stances written by members in dogmatic fashion. I understand it's also natural to dismiss something that dismisses you ("hamstering") as a human being.

Craziness aside, however, what do you really think of the core concepts from an objective standpoint? Do you think it reflects a larger truth that is present in society at large, regardless of whether that applies to you or every specific individual? Do you disagree with it completely and simply see it as, let's say, a power play by the men of the world who feel threatened by feminism? Or is your truth somewhere in between?

What makes you believe what you believe about it? Can you provide facts and anecdotes?
