Most black women have no interest in white guys at all, really -- many really hate white guys, as we can see in this thread, and are quite open about their hatred for white guys.

The interracial dating market skews in odd ways, but interracial dating, taken as a whole in terms of the total percentage of relationships, is small potatoes. Even today, most relationships are between people of the same race. It isn't racist, it's just because people seem to be more naturally attracted that way, and cultural and other similarities/familiarity/compatibility also plays a significant role, i would guess.

In any case, getting freaked out about what someone says about you on the internet is a waste of time. If the OP is the woman in the photo posted downthread, many men will find her attractive, so the fact that one guy on an internet subreddit doesn't should not be a big issue.

Anyone who openly trumpets their racist sexual preferences isn't someone worth being with. I can certainly see why it'd be hurtful.

I think it's that anonymity thing that makes people more inclined to express radical opinions.

The only people I've known to openly talk about not finding black women attractive are the already-racist white rednecks. Sure, in conversations with my friends racial preferences come up but we don't make sure the world knows. For us it's more like "if you're attractive and pleasant I'll talk to you regardless of race".

I agree that there are SOME black women who are physically attractive. White men notice attractive WOMEN -- race has little to do with it. A black woman who is attractive usually isn't going to date white men not because they're cowards or racists; but because most white men are not attractive enough to date an attractive black woman.

An attractive black woman will have options because she's attractive; her race has nothing to do with it. u/grendalor is pretty much correct that black women aren't interested in white men. I think the reason for that is not because they're white men; it's because they're unattractive men.

So the apparent desire of some on this thread to attribute all sorts of claims of prejudice to me is misplaced. It's pretty clear to see who the pissed off prejudiced one is here.

Huh? Is someone sending you personal messages saying they don't find black women attractive? If not, and you only see those views by looking at certain parts of the internet, it seems you can fix your problem by not looking at those parts of the internet anymore.

P.S. for what it's worth I can easily find black women attractive depending on facial features, however I've also found that most often black women only go for black men, and don't find white men so attractive. I don't really care enough to complain about this however.

Well, there are a lot of white men who aren't attracted to black women. It's mainly because there are a lot of unattractive black women. And, from u/sirnemesis ' links, it appears a reddit thread you wrote was discussed at TRP, and you responded to it at TRP with a comment.

TRP, and this sub, are sites where issues pertaining to sex, relationships, attractiveness and related matters are discussed, analyzed, dissected, and tossed around. If you're going to write a post about your dating experiences, it shouldn't be surprising that a subreddit devoted to discussing issues pertaining to attraction, sexual behavior and attractiveness would find it and discuss it.

It's a fact of life that a lot of men find black women unattractive. It's also a fact of life that a lot of women find a lot of men unattractive. It's also a fact of life that a lot of women talk all the time everywhere about how unattractive most men are. We men have to live with both of those rather unsavory facts. Just is so. I respectfully suggest that you might wish to accept the fact that many white men don't find black women attractive; and direct your efforts to the men who DO find you attractive, which, I think you'll discover, are many.

Perhaps you might be happier if you also limited your reddit time and didn't write posts about your dating experiences as a black woman.

Some guys don't like the way some women look. They don't get boners for fat women. They prefer blonde women over dark haired ones. Race is just another preference.

Black women look different than women of other races. They just do. Their skin color is different, they tend to have an entirely different complexion, actually. They tend to have different hair colors, hair textures, and body types than women who aren't black. Some guys don't like that look. Maybe they don't like that look because they're racists who think that black people are dirty. Or maybe they don't like that look simply because it doesn't give them a boner. What's it matter?

I've talked about this a number of times but im personally attracted to many black women. However ones who takes good care of themselves and have a similar sense of style that I like is harder to come by. It's really more the socioeconomic status which results in people I'm generally not attracted to of any race. I want someone who takes care of themselves and looks classy.

Seriously, FUCK white guys, most of them are cowards. I'm a black girl myself and have lived around them all my life, and they've loved me. I have been hit on and attracted more white men than any other race, and to this day, despite living in a diverse city, I attract white and black guys often and easily.

I get where you're coming from, to me, these idiots look down on black people and many seem to have this idea that black women cannot be equal to other women, even if they are attracted to us we have to either be an exception to them (I like you, but not other black girls! Derrrrpp) OR they try to tell themselves we are mixed of we are attractive. Who would want someone that delusional and bitter?? I don't. I've never dated white men. The Hispanic men I've dated and been around hardly cared about race! They're real men to me, they aren't obsessed with what others think, and they aren't so insecure that they can see past social programming to see others as individuals.

I'd also like to point out that I've mainly only experienced this with white American men. I wouldn't date one if I were single if he was the last man on earth. Even more, let's point out that most black women aren't attracted to white men but don't seem to go out of their way about it. Most prefer black men, or some other minorities. White guys are losers and I enjoy seeing their women leave them for black, Hispanic and even Asian guys these days.

Black women should remember there are tons of men who aren't white who are way more attractive and respect us fine. My Hispanic boyfriend, my exes and the guys I've been hit on and friends with are proof of this. Arab, middle eastern, Filipino guys, Latin/South American, African, etc... And white men have tiny dicks that look like raw meat anyway.

Second, why should it bother you so much? Don't you have other things in your life like hobbies, and activities and friends that give you a sense of self-esteem?

That said, I've seen plenty of women who say, "I don't like short men" or "Only men over 6' need apply". Why is that acceptable behavior but when a man says he's not interested that's suddenly wrong and hurtful?

I find plenty of black women attractive, I think most non racists do also. There is a funny thing Jim Jeffries said that was something like "white women want to be treated like princesses and black women want to be treated like queens". The behavior of the "queen" is far less attractive to most men, if you avoid that behavior and anything that can come off as trashy or uneducated you should be fine

I started to write a response and then became even more confused. Why would you expect this kind of self-censure? People write about things they like or don't like all the time. "I like grapes", "I don't like pears", "I prefer blonds", etc. If the majority of them doesn't prefer black girls, then, whatever, why even care about that?

If that's of any consolation to you, one of my white male friends has a fixation of girls of African and Middle-Eastern descent. He even moved to Dubaii to pursue a girl of his dreams. I'm personally into blonde Slav girls myself.

Seriously though I'm sorry that black girls get this constant disparaging. Must hurt a lot. To be fair though, I think the thing about black women being too masculine is a statement about personality, not just looks. The hope is probably that they will make their personality more feminine and thus make themselves more attractive.
