I hate when mothers have lower standards for their sons than they do for their daughters (or just super low standards in general for their sons).

“I cook three meals a day for my 25 year old unemployed son while he plays video games all day. His room hasn’t been vacuumed in five years but he wiped his ass today. He’s still looking for Mrs. Right but I don’t think any woman will be good enough for him. He’s pretty picky :)”

I am SO EMBARRASSED that I let my ex parade me around his friends & family so soon. It still makes me cringe. I don't bring men into my circle like that, so I thought it meant something. Nope, I was just another one of his girls on the list. I hope he's a little embarrassed, too, the way he parades so many women around his own mother but can't make any of them stay. Yikes.

Oh, she definitely is in on it. When my ex was cheating on me, she would watch the girl’s infant while they had sex in his room. And then she would welcome me into the house just hours later like nothing ever happened. It went on for MONTHS.

Then, when I found out, dumped him immediately and blocked it on everything, she reached out to me and LIED about him having cancer to get me to take him back.

Some mothers think their children can do no wrong.

I've noticed that LVMs have pickme moms. I've never dated a guy with a really cool, interesting mom before.

I know that probably sounds judgemental and misogynistic of me to say but I have yet to meet a man with a mom who is as cool as the older women in my family and the older women I work with.

Facts though. She'd literally clean his room and take care of his cat for him. She was a huge pickme and sat at home while her husband worked and she'd tell me she would beg for money from him to get herself clothes at the freaking thrift store. It was pathetic. She didn't drive and her soms didn't have cars. They all relied on the dad. The lvm son i "hungout" with as a pickme was 30 years old too. He still lived at home with his parents.

If he seems hv it is very important to meet his mom, if you get the chance you should. You can see their relationship first hand, it'll help show if hes a momma boy or if she is a big pickme because if his mom is a pickme or cleans for him its likely he will want that from you. The funniest thing was when I told the pickme mom her son lied and was telling me he served in the military after I hung out with her and sge was telling me she hopes she raised him right... i dropped the bomb and watched it start exploding as I headed off

Oh my god this! I met his mom just days into the relationship and she seemed so relieved that someone would look after him. This was way before I knew that his whole family tired of his shit and avoids him like plague. Meeting family means nothing, sometimes they just want to get rid of their lousy sons somehow

Years ago I was "dating" a guy for like 3-4 months and he asked me to have dinner with his mom and family and after that he booked a hotel for me In that time I was over my head and I thought this was very sweet and cute

Now I just know this was just an excuse to show me off to his mom like he finally had a girl to show off to mommy.. andddd that he could only use me for s3x later in that hotel

I have a coworker who’s going through a divorce because her husband is an abusive cheater. His fucking mother had the audacity to call her and tell her she was wrong to leave him because she wasn’t being fair to him by giving him another chance. She tried to guilt this girl into staying. It was horrible to watch. It was hard enough to leave, she didn’t need this mother of Satan telling her she wasn’t going to find anyone better than her darling boy. It’s gang abuse. They can’t stand to see their boys not get their way.

My ex threw out all my clothes that I left at his house (lived with mom). I had a lot of stuff there because we were cleaning out my dorm and my own mom was in the middle of buying a house/ moving so we were packing everything up there anyway and I only really left winter clothes at the ex’s since it was summer. Anyway we broke up a month later and he threw out all of my clothes. When I kept texting him to drop them off he never answered. Then I finally just said okay leave them on the porch and I’ll come at x time. His mom left a whole note telling me to leave her son alone, that my stuff is no longer there (aka in the trash). These boy moms smh.
