I think it's a ridiculous way to judge women in relationships. Why do we have to wonder who she'd do it for other than you. It's a waste of time to analyze a nonexistent relationship to determine something about a partner. All that matters is the people in the relationship. Will they do that thing for you? Will you communicate and work on it? Is it a deal breaker for you? These are the things that matter.

I see it as kind of an empowering tool for guys who are just starting to perceive the difference between a passionate relationship with a woman who is infatuated with you, and well, lack of that. It's worth questioning whether a woman is giving you her all in a relationship. I know BPers don't believe that this actually happens, but many women get into subpar relationships or just, for whatever dumb entitled reason, don't value whoever they're with as much as they ought to. It's called settling, or falling out of love, and there are examples of it everywhere.

The Brad Pitt test is good for clarifying in one's own mind, whether you feel like your woman is still or has ever been really into you. Not enough men ask themselves this. I regularly see posts on this site about men who are being blatantly disrespected in their relationships and just sitting around asking other people meekly if they, perhaps, have a right to try and do something about it, or if they should just continue taking shit indefinitely. It's such a weak mindset.

I think BPers are getting too caught up on details rather than the actual intent of the question, which is benign, introspective and healthy. No one cares about that one time in college where you got sloshed and took it up the ass from Chad Alpha and might've enjoyed it but now you hamster it as you could never possibly enjoy it because you've settled into a life of sexual mediocrity with your current SO and don't want to bother experimenting or feeling guilty about the whole deal.

I seen this a lot on PUA sites and on TRP. Basically if a girl doesn't do something for you, you ask yourself, if she was dating Ryan Gosling (or some other attractive male celebrity) would she do this for him?

How would you even know whether she would or wouldn't? What if she's never tried anal, and says she never wants to, how the hell do you know if she'd offer her arse to Brad Pitt?

I'm sure a lot of the girls who blow rockstars backstage wouldn't do the same for any ol' random mortal upon first meeting. I don't think there's anyway a non-famous, average-looking dude would be able to pull that off regularly with hot chicks, Game ™ or not. I also don't think there's any way for a man to tell whether his relatively vanilla gf would be willing to be bent over behind a dumpster for [insert attractive male celebrity here], so its effectively moot.

How does this principle manifest in real life? If a girl refuses [insert gross sex act here], you assume it's because you're not hot enough? Then what? Next her? Amp up the dread? If she refuses to budge and has no history of engaging in aforementioned act, what happens? At what point are women's boundaries accepted as boundaries and not just stuff they will only do for the hottest of the hot?
