Some years ago I’ve read that, for men, a « funny woman » is a woman that laugh to their jokes.

I frequent comedy clubs and one chick I dated hated comedy in any form. I tried to make it last for waaay longer than I should have.

But I don't have "is funny" as a requirement. I have a sense of humor and I like it when girls laugh at my stupid shit. I don't necessarily need a performance myself.

Humorless is different to not funny. Not funny is fine; some people are more intense and serious that they are relaxed, and I have no problem with that.

Sure.Most chicks I've dated weren't funny as in told great jokes or had wit but were funny in the sense that they went along with my jokes and teases.Its not a requirement though

I don't think I'd deliberately seek a funny or unfunny woman. But I can't imagine it would work out if she wasn't funny. Unfunny people tend to hate my guts very quickly. Honestly I can't think of many unfunny people I even know.

I’m not a dude but I feel like both men and women make me crack up. I think men’s humor tends to be more theatrical and performative while women’s humor tends to be subtle and sardonic. That’s just my experience. I know a lot of people though so I thought I’d throw in my two cents.

I will say that a FUN personality is a win for me. And I don’t mean the village idiot, the endless party-girl, or whatever the hell they think sarcasm™️ is kind of fun. I mean, she has well-timed, smile-inducing wit and sunny disposition. Those women are rare and snatched up pretty quickly by their opposites. IME, highly creative or the strong, silent type.
