A fair few of the women who send out IoI's to me have been attractive... but very clearly unstable or else they had a personality that grated on me. I wouldn't call them bad people, per se, it's just that they very obviously weren't living a lifestyle compatible with where I was at the time.

Back when I was chubby and nerdier I had a very brief thing with a fairly muscular woman who was into boxing and was super religious. I was at my least religious so it felt weird and I was at my least fit so I felt super self conscious being around a personal trainer who was interested in putting on gloves. Ironically she lost her tone and gained some flab while now I'm the one at the gym and putting on gloves. We're still on social media and talk occasionally and I suppose we're still friends even now so it's not like I cut her out of my life. It's just we both had our own hangups that clashed at a more intimate level.

Another time at work I met this chick who just went through a messy breakup and was super attractive, but was mentally all over the place and super erratic. I had her number for work purposes and we were gonna get together but by the end of the day the job had a whole lot of problems and a good chunk of those were due to her and when it came down on me she didn't take it super well. Whatever she needed I just didn't have in me and even if I tried to give it to her it was obvious it wouldn't have gone well.

I have rejected a girl who messaged me and asked if I want to go to the cinema. The reasons I rejected her was because her photos did not show her actual looks and her profile seemed fake. Also that she was too assertive. Like deciding what cinema we are going to without asking me.

I rejected women for seeming mentally anxious or challenged. The reason for this is that they are often too emotionally unstable and it could lead down many roads that will fuck me over. It's not worth it no matter how hot she is.

I've rejected women who were too sexually forward or dresses that way. In my experience they often have STDs, fucked other guys I know, and its just a general turnoff at this point.

I've rejected women because I knew I didn't want to be with them based on their personality or lack of it. I'm not into having sex with strangers I have no emotional attachment with. And it would make me a hypocrite for increasing her N count when I prefer it as low as possible.

If a woman cant even bring herself to say a simple "Hello" to me if she's interested, we aren't compatible anyways. No bother to me.

Your question needs to be more specific. Is this a stranger offering sex? A stranger simply “approaching” does it count if in a relationship?

I’ll answer for each context

Strangers approaching

Women rarely approach but the times I’ve rejected is when they were piss drunk and overly aggressive. I wasn’t into it. They had poor game.

Strangers offering sex straight up

Rare, turned out to be either trans or catfish

Gf/fwb offered sex

Was too exhausted/drunk/high for my dick to perform well. The exhaustion thing I think has only happened twice. And one time it was stress-related.

friend suggesting sex

Declined because didn’t wanna ruin the friendship.

An approach requires initiation and a proposal that gives the opportunity to be rejected. I cannot say “no I will not go home with/go out with/give my number to you” unless that question has actually been asked

I've rejected women who made the first approach. In fact, i've never hooked up with women who directly approached me. I know this is fucked up, but it's something that i can't seem to control. The moment she approaches, i lose all interest. This is the reason why i never hold it against women when they say that a man should always approach. My default assumption about guys who moan about women not approaching men is that they've never been approached by women before. It's a huge turnoff for anyone who's experienced it on a regular basis.
I've rejected women who have the reputation of being huge sluts. When i say huge sluts, their N count is 20-30+. I've absolutely no interest in hooking up with women who i see as Community property. It's a little harsh, but i'm being honest.
I've rejected women who are overweight and have too many tattoos. I don't mind a woman who has a few well thought out and cool tattoos. But, there's a point where it goes to an absolute extreme and it's a huge turnoff.
I've rejected hooking up with women who are closely related to my best friends. There are 5 guys in my life whom i can count on in any scenario and i don't like messing with their sisters etc.

The above are the reasons why i've rejected women for an ONS. If it goes into LTR territory, there are many other things like Cooking, History of cheating, Drug abuse etc

What would i consider an approach?

Outside of work and family, I'd consider a woman coming up to me with a huge smile and introducing herself to be an approach. The threshold is very low but the reason being, women don't do that to at least 90% of the men out there.

I’ve had chances when I was in my younger teens to do things with the girls I grew up with, but I was socially anxious as a teenager and didn’t know how to approach women that way, so it just never happened.

Within the last decade I’ve turned down sex with a few women. One, I wasn’t quite sure of because she seemed like she was going through the motions and just wanted to add me to her list (she was about 23 with an n-count of about 25. She was fun to hang out with, but not quite stable), and another one reminded me too much of my brother in the way she spoke. I’m not from Alabama or Kentucky, so that wasn’t happening.

Another of them I’m quite sure was interested in me but she wasn’t single and I don’t condone or enable cheating.

Another one I can think of is a good friend that I’ve known for about 8 years now. She’d be cute and dateable if she wasn’t 300 pounds. I like women with a little extra weight on them still, but 10 - 15 is the limit. An extra 180 pounds is way too much.

So here I am: I’ll be 31 in two weeks and still never had sex in my life. It is what it is though. I’m not stressing over it that much.
