Sexlessness itself is not a serious social issue, but the lack of many men’s ability to “connect” with a woman might be one.

Sexlessness, homelessness, addiction, and suicide are all symptoms of the same issue. The issue is that men (much more than women) are put in a state of competition for their place in the world. Each of those predicaments represents a way of having failing the competition.

In principle you can solve all those issues together by addressing the root cause, i.e. the system that pits male against male and watches the losers go down without an emotional reaction. But let's be realistic, it probably cannot be solved, this is too deeply ingrained in everybody.

In the meantime we can only work on excessive symptoms here and there, but I cannot say much about that, I'm not an activist.

I largely agree with most (if not all) MRA’s grievances. They tend not to be driven by any kind of radical viewpoints or ideology.

Male sexlessness is not even close to being as serious as male homelessness or suicide. I don’t think male sexlessness is even close to being as serious as the obesity or opioid epidemic either.

I think most reasonable people can empathise with someone lacking in sex. But realistically, how can you mitigate it? Should the state provide them with hookers? Would that just result in in men pretending to be celibate to score free hookers?

Actually, yes. Its actually AN epidemic. 30% rise in sexless men is not a laughing matter.

To give you an analogy... drinking water is everywhere if you live in a well established society. But if you are walking in the middle of a desert for hours for some reason and you can't find water anywhere and you are thirsty for water, then water in this context is one of the most craved after thing by that person to the point his entire goal is to find water first.

Same goes to sexlessness epidemic. Sure, it may not be as worse as a guy without water (which can kill you if you can't find water within 3-4 days), but a man without a sex life has society altering consequences.

From a bureaucratic and big government perspective, we NEED these men to be productive members of the society. What happens when more and more men don't bother contributing to the economy and clock off and get reclusive? Technically speaking, we already see this happening. Many economists today are wondering why there are less men in workforce during one of the most prosperous times in recent history? (well, they asked it a few months ago, not today obviously since that covid-19 and OPEC crisis is wrecking havoc in global economy)

For politicians, governments and people in general, there will be a big loss of tax dollars. This can cause a chain reaction of stuff happening that affects every facet of the country you live in.

For WOMEN, there will be less and less men to choose from who are "marriage potential" resulting in women extending their spinsterhood lifestyle from early 30's to early 40's. Women would be forced to be single mothers if they even hope to have a child by the time they get too old via other means rather than start a family with a man resulting in more and more unstable households because of the lack of father figure to teach them to how to properly behave, with the end result being unstable children growing up to be future criminals causing societal decline.

We already see this happening. "where are all the good men gone?" is a question women constantly ask in various places and mainstream media publications and in social media on a regular basis.

Sexlessness is only for men who don't recognize the various forms of transactional sex, but refuse to employ the one method that is guaranteed to work for a man: paying by the hour. This is no fair, becaus the woman got paid by the hour, which is not fair. To get society's approval, he must pay by the date, by the lease, by the marriage and by the divorce.

If a man needs sex that badly, he can get it. The ones who can't are just lazy or cowardly - and want some woman to call herself his girlfriend and run over there and play with his pee pee.

Sex is ridiculously high on the male list of priorities. To the point where yes, it really does rank up there with food, shelter and drinking water. I'd say once a man has everything needed for basic survival his next thought is "ok now how do I get some pussy." If he isn't about that, then he's prolly jerking off 3 times a day to short circuit his own biological programming.

After that comes hobbies, wealth, freedom, meaningful work, etc.

The tragedy in all this is you can't say it out loud, and even if you do, people just dunk on you for being EntiTLEd To sEx, or for NoT HavING rEAl ProBLems, or for being a loser who isn't already getting laid. Why does society react that harshly? I have no idea. It's like they're threatened by the idea that men want sex, despite almost all of human history being a huge mountain of evidence that men indeed want sex.

The porn industry is 3x bigger than hollywood, that should tell you everything you need to know about the importance of sex to the male brain. And yet, sex barely ever gets discussed in public, other than the typical "omg watch out for STDs" and "teach men not to rape." I'm convinced that in a few hundred years everyone will be getting heroin nanites pumped directly into their brains, fucking sexbots and genetically modified furrykin and having a good solid laugh at our expense when they look back on our puritanical sex-hating shame fuelled culture.

Anyway, to get back to the point. A top down intervention can't solve this because no one can force anyone to have sex with anyone else, and because the government sucks at everything that isn't a use of force. Instead, the cure has to come from the grassroots, cultural level and waft up from there. The best way to get people to have sex more? Normalize drugs. All the sexiest times in history have also been alcohol and opium fuelled times. Drugs make people mellow and creative and happy and sociable, and sex just kinda happens from there.

We live in one of the most uptimes times in history. The average woke Twitter user of today is the equivalent of a Spanish Inquisitor from the 1500s. Constant moral outrage, judgementalism, virtue signalling, hypocrisy, inability to chill the fuck out, supercilious pinched nostrils facial expression, refusal to have sex unless its the kind approved of by ~~god~~ feminism, puckered anus, hatred for large swaths of the population (white men), etc. The only solution to a person like this is a heavy dose of psilocybin or LSD or MDMA to get them to relax and love things again.

It's obviously not as severe a problem as homelessness and suicide, but I think it clearly ranks above family court issues, and should be addressed as part of a cluster of problems along with poverty and mental health.

Absolutely yes.

Unfortunately I don't think many public policy people have formally explored how this can be done, but it's not hard to come up with plausible ideas. Here are a few:

Legalize prostitution. I think most people struggling with sexlessness could find a way to scrape up the money to get help this way.
Increase access to and awareness about mental health services, especially regarding anxiety-related issues.
Target young people with anti-poverty programs. A lot of young people, especially without college degrees, are poor and that can make it hard to date.

I just want to note here that it's extremely embarrassing that feminists make wild accusations about mass rape and "entitlement" every time this subject is discussed. I think this reaction is extremely misandristic, aside from being detached from reality. It's like saying we can't solve poverty because it'll make poor people think they're entitled to money and start robbing banks.

The answer to this one isn't obvious to me, because I see these issues as being tied up with each other. Homelessness and suicide are more pressing, but I think sexlessness is closer to the root of the problem (or at least it's upstream from those problems), so if we focus on sexlessness there would likely end up being less suicide and homelessness. But I don't know what the optimal tradeoff is.

The guys affected by these things will not be bothered about lack of sex.

If you are homeless, try and find a shelter, get off the drugs, get a job. The path is clear.

Suicide, well your dead, there is nothing that can be done about it.

Representation in family court, avoid marraige, simply solved.

Now sex and relationships, there is no easy answer or path, its a mystery.

Now why are these things bought up in talks regarding equality. Because we are calling people out on their bullshit, instead of saying they don't give a fuck (which they don't) they keep claiming they do. The incongruence is obvious. So they will be called out on it.

It’s extremely important. You can’t get men to invest in a society if their needs aren’t being met.

The sexual revolution has been good for two groups of people: all women and high value men. All other men have been left to rot.

Why should I work hard and pay tax for a society that doesn’t meet my needs? Why should I contribute a disproportionate amount of my labour to support women who take the lion’s share of welfare?

This societal structure, with a few guys at the top hoarding all the women is why they’re are so many male suicide bombers in the Middle East. It isn’t healthy and it certainly isn’t sustainable.

I'm not sure that we can or should solve it. Let's see it not as a problem but as an opportunity. Millions of men would do anything for a girlfriend, or even one night once in a while. Right now they don't have any clear path to it, and even worse, antisocial behaviors are the best course of action for them (drug dealing, reckless approaches, general assholity). If we could make women fuck men who do useful things, millions of men would do useful things. A possible way for this would be to generalize self-employment, encourage personal creativity, and try to give social status to men who use this freedom efficiently. Even if the quantity of sex actually given to them stays low, the hope will make them work better than any wage slave. Besides, the modern productive economy based on megacorporations is starting to get more harmful than useful anyway. We could also add some destigmatization of prostitution or of a mild form of courtesanship.

Sex is an important milestone for men because it psychologically and socially affirms that we are capable of attracting a mate. This is a primary reason why most incels refuse to employ sex workers. Furthermore men who stray further from this milestone often experience a decline in confidence which trickles down to affecting overall production at home, work, school etc. Bleakly enough, there are many known cases where it has led to suicide.

So yes, sexlessness is a serious male social issue and it would be disingenuous to dismiss in a society where we are so critically judged by our ability to attract a partner. However the exact same logic could be applied to femcels who don't find love. If only we could all just fuckin love each other.
