Glad you blocked them. He was just looking for an ego boost. If he wanted to ask you out, he would have. I just finished reading Not Your Mother's Rules, and they actually provide examples of what a ood text conversation should look like. I especially like their idea of matching the guy's energy and never writing more than he does.

Not only that but I think they're trying to avoid investing even the teensiest bit of emotion so they expect us to chase, plan, and pay.
