If I stayed home with my kids, society would shit on me for "not working" and expect me to be endlessly grateful to my spouse for single-handedly "supporting the family."

Single fathers put the childcare burden on their moms and girlfriends. It's all BS. Scrote is trying to make himself feel better. And 60% of men don't pay child support. Men who have 50% custody are forced to be better parents, but according to breakingmom sub and Scary Mommy blog they don't do a great job of taking care of their own kids.

There are so many gaps in this argument, but I’ll go with the easiest. What about single mothers by choice? These “Men’s Rights Activists” always seem to forget with this argument is that there is a big trend with middle class to upper middle class women to do it on their own as they really don’t need a man and their children perform just as well and are just as happy as children from a two parent household.

Per the WSJ: Her research has found most single mothers by choice are college educated and, on average, earn $110,000, nearly double the national household median. Assuming this is true (which I doubt) there are countless reasons why it would be the case that are FAR more likely than mEn iS bEtTer tHan wImmEn huRrDurr.

Men make more money than women. Single fathers make nearly double what single mothers make. The kids in this scenario would be doing better because of their FINANCES, not their dad's parenting.
A "single dad" is far more likely to have a female romantic partner he is actually dumping all the childcare on than a single mother. In fact, they are MORE than twice as likely to have one. The kids in this scenario would be doing better because another WOMAN stepped up to do the ~~emotional labor~~ parenting, not their dad's parenting.
It is also the case that "single father" just means UNMARRIED father. It is possible that a lot of these "single fathers" are actually with the mothers of their child(ren), but they're recorded as "sInGLe fAthERs" anyway. The kids in this scenario would be doing better because their parents are TOGETHER, not their dad's parenting.

Let’s disadvantage women by punishing them for taking time out of the workforce for children. By assuming and pressuring them to be the ones to do the childrearing if their partner leaves. By not establishing affordable child care. By punishing them at their jobs when they have to take off work for their kids.

And then blame them when with juggling all of that they can’t get a decent job that allows them to take care of and raise their child properly. But hey at least they’re trying to raise their children, unlike the men we’re letting off the hook when we say single mom households are “the worst.”

Single father households out perform single mother households because only fathers who can be arsed to be fathers will become single fathers. The men who are shit fathers will not become single fathers, they'll just leave and give all the responsibility to the mother, or it'll be some shared custody situation. "50% custody is the best outcome", that bloody well depends on who the parents are, doesn't it? There are plenty of children out there who would be better off if their abusive or violent fathers didn't have custody.

I am childfree for almost 70 reasons but absolutely this is a huge one. Being a mother is an often thankless and difficult job. Sacrificing my career, my body, my hobbies, my interests, my sleep, my sanity, and so much more while my male partner gets to further his life and can walk away much more easily than a woman can? All the while saying simultaneously that women need to “have it all” with career and baby? Hell to the NO. That shit sounds exhausting. My bloodline ends with me.

If they really believed this, they wouldn't be advocating for "financial abortions" and "going their own way." They'd be telling men to look after their damn kids.
