When it comes to casual-no strings attached-never going to see that person ever again sex- women and men are no different in terms of what is most important when it comes to attraction-it is clearly looks. Being physically attractive is of course subjective to a certain extent but we all know what being conveniently good looking means and this is what both genders are ultimately seeking when it comes to a completely causal hook up.

However what males and females generally find most desirable in potential mates( rather than a simple one night stand) is in my opinion very different between the sexes. Men and woman simply do not place the same level of importance on traits we otherwise all find attractive as a generalisation.

I think the result of this is a lot of confusion on both ‘sides’ in terms of why they are not attracting the opposite sex. A lot people seem to believe that because they find something massively attractive in the opposite sex themselves the same principal applies the other way around. This is not the case.

Of course any self improvement is a good thing in of itself but if the cynical goal is to make oneself as optimally attractive to the opposite sex as possible I feel a lot of people are misguided on what to focus on.

For example almost no man cares about wealth or status when it comes to a female mate. Given the option between an overweight CEO with 5 PHD’S and 100 million in the bank ...and a cute, kind and friendly Barista -and the Starbucks employee will win out every time. Switch genders around and we all know the choice will be very different. In short men and woman are just as ‘shallow’ as each other-it’s just that we place these values at very different point on the attraction spectrum.

With this in mind what 3 traits to you believe men and woman place most importance on when finding attraction in a potential partner?

Please note I am not asking what 3 traits are most important in terms of maintaining a healthy and loving relationship. These are often very different than what attracts somebody in the first place. Loyalty, consideration and good communication for example will be equally important for both ‘sides’ but will only be evident once deep into a relationship. I’m talking about the top 3 traits that get men hard enough and woman wet enough for a possible long term relationship.

Look deep within yourself and be truly honest.

I’ll start it off:

Top 3 traits men find most attractive in woman

1: Looks 2: Naturing nature 3: Femininity
