I followed* this creator on tiktok for basically as long as I've had the app, & they have always posted strictly music content, which i liked! They made good content in the past, I'll own up to that. But, they have been pretty silent over the last couple months until they posted this. I honestly don't even know where to start.. not only does he downplay these womens' experiences with SA to the point they wrote an entire song about it, he goes on to recommend "real" female artists (in his fucking humble opinion) as if creating a song at the level these ladies did is to be fucking scoffed at because he didn't like the message. As a women who is a musician, who was in the punk & riot grrrl scene, who has played shows & have been told to my fucking face that my "performance would be more impactful if I did it shirtless," he has no idea what the fuck he is talking about. Seriously, & royally fuck his opinion.

Yo people were commenting on their video saying “you’re bringing race into this” or “fetishizing POC” and MADE THEM MAKE AN APOLOGY VIDEO WHAT THE FUCK. it has nothing to do with fetishizing POC.
