Usually it's used as an example of the differences between male and female SMV. The argument is that female SMV is more malleable traits such as weight, where-as male SMV is based on immutable traits (height).

As a side note, I disagree with RP on this stance, but just because I disagree doesn't mean we should misrepresent their argument...

Its usually to show unrealistic standards. Put another way: woman demands a fit 6'3 bodybuilder with 8 pack abs who must be able to bench at least 300lb.

"And she is 5'2 and 270lbs"

Most men I know with that hatred towards women who are obsessed with height will say that 'this is coming from someone who is over 200lbs, and what's worse is that unlike my height weight can be worked on', not really seen people comparing heights directly like that.

It's like "guess I'll just die then" if you're under 6ft. Especially nonsensical when women themselves are still shorter than the average man.

Yeah, it confuses me too. Plus a woman being like 5’4 and under is actually preferred, and has the same overall value as a dude who is 6’0.

The major complaints and whining about this tend to more come from Black Pillers than Red Pillers.

The Red Piller will say that a woman wanting a man 6 feet plus is what she desires, and if you aren't 6 feet plus yourself, you need to work on those things that are under your control, such as lifting more, improving your game, making more money, etc... And that if you desire her, you should pursue her regardless, because you should be following a woman's actions not what she says. And that for many women, especially shorter women, when the two of you are seeing each other in person, she's not going to realize that you are 5 feet 10 instead of 6 feet.

The black piller will whine and moan and complain about how they are doomed solely because they weren't born to be above 6 feet and that no amount of self improvement will matter.

Because "some" ( I will say some very carefully because I truly don´t know the actual number ) RP men are just bitter. Some guys come for answers and when they realize something they get mad. They try to find some kind of balance that is not possible to reach because we are different and, as you said, height is attractive to women and period.

Anyone can "command" whatever shit they want as long deals are closed. If you are commanding whatever and get nothing... something is wrong.

Because they feel entitled to people liking them and think that because someone doesn't have a characteristic they can't have dating standard that include that characteristic. What I think is that as long as you're not bitching that people won't fit your standards or that people that fit them won't date you, you can have whatever fucking standards you want.

If a woman is average 5'4", than the average man 5'9" is 5 inches taller than her. That's a lot!

What?? Both those things matter to many men. Ask any tall girl and she’ll tell you she’s been turned down by men for being too tall. And any man who isn’t an idiot isn’t going to get into a relationship with a woman who makes no income and just lives off her boyfriends.
