One of my recent favourites is when one of them and I were arguing about this and she was like “You have no idea what it’s like to be a woman” but yet she thought it was completely fine for her to prejudge what it’s like to be a man.

This shit has bugged me for my entire adult life, 20+ years. I for some reason ventured over to askfeminists yesterday and saw the classic "men are taught to not share their feelings" and I'm like.. I am a man who was never taught that, nor has any other man in my entire life said such a thing either. We all tend to say we just don't bother because no one listens. (their comment kind of proving that point ahead of time too)

It's fucking amazing how so many who fall in the sjw camp seem to know men's histories and what we are thinking.

Well, most people who lack intelligence are quite likely to speak in blanket statements such as, “women are like this” or “men are like that”. What both sides fail to realize is that grass appears greener on the other side since each lack the experience of being on the other side.

A lot of these low intelligence people often study feminist theories and meninist theories and delude themselves into believing that they are smart since now they are capable of using social science jargon to say to others exactly what xyz book told them. The point that gets missed in all of this is that theories are not word of gospel, introspection and critical thinking is required when reading these texts since the author comes from a place of bias just like the rest of us. It is imperative to recognize your own bias and to understand that what you read as social science theories are also subject to bias.

However, these “all men are pigs” and “all women are bitches” category of people are usually incapable of understanding something so simple, since to them the world only appears black or white. So i tend to say, “you are right!” And walk away. Improving their thinking capacity isn’t my responsibility.

How is your parents?
Next time they say something like "Kill All Men", become extremely mad at them, but without saying it to them. Wait a couple of hours, and talk to your parents about how your sisters want you and your dad dead, don't mention the "kill all men part", just that they don't care for you, and want you dead. Because, they're practically saying that. They may not mean it, but they're saying it.
Then act extremely offended, refuse to talk to them, only sating "You want me dead", and maybe shortly explaining why you think that, maybe even become sad, then just ignore them. This would hopefully show people that they're hurting others.

I used to work in a book shop when I was a teenager. One of my tasks in the morning was to load up the drinks in the fridge. This is time sensitive so I tended to do nothing until it was done. One of the ladies there asked for help unloading the packs of printing paper so I told her I would help her as soon as I was done with the fridge.

A few minutes later I was told off by my manager for not dropping what I was doing and helping her- "when a woman asks for help it means she can't do it alone" Now obviously I can do that job faster than her I can carry 3 or 4 pack in one hand but to prove a point I went over and took one pack at a time to prove the point that a child is capable of doing that job and that needing help and wanting help are two different things. I left not too long after this.

My sister is older than your sisters, but she went down the same path.

A few years ago I started noticing that every time I was around her she would make at least one negative generalization about men. Seriously every day she finds a way to tie things back to "men are evil."

She married a Canadian and lives in Canada, and she listens to CBC radio all day. The majority of their content is all SocJus related. Men bad. White men are especially bad. Etc.

Most recently, my sister was whining about the fact that female athletes usually don't earn as much as male athletes. I pointed out that more men watch women's sports than women do so maybe if she wants the female athletes to earn more money she should start watching women's sports and encouraging her friends to do the same.

She didn't like my suggestion haha

It's annoying and for a while I would just not say anything because I don't see her often and thought it wasn't worth the argument. (because she's incapable of discussing these issues without it turning into an emotional argument) But eventually I just got fed up and now I call her on it although I don't see her much now because of Covid.

You're right. I further claim too many women accept this self-centered view - only women's experience counts - without ever posing the obvious questions about men's experience.

Having read the thread, I think the one aspect that people aren't taking into account is that these are your sisters. You're going to be seeing a lot of them during the rest of your life, at least at family events.

It was a sad day for me when I discovered that my funny, friendly, generous, generally likeable sister was also a sexist cunt, whom I couldn't talk to about what it feels like to be society's scapegoat because I'm a man.

But my experience of arguing with feminists is that arguing with them is both futile and unpleasant, and the best part of the process is walking away from them and getting on with my life.

Walking away from family members can be done (and sometimes you have no choice) but it has a high cost. Pragmatically, you may be better off grunting "uhuh" and spending your energy in more positive ways -- such as searching for friends that you can talk to.

Sorry this is happening to you, mate. I would advise that you just avoid having these conversations with them. Hating a person for something beyond their control like race, gender, and in this case sex, is irrational and stupid so there's no way to actually win that argument with them. All you're going to accomplish is a bunch of yelling and hurt feelings. Just stay out of it when they bring it up, let them talk themselves tired in their own time. What I do in my own life, when someone brings up stuff like this(men are trash, kill all men), is I just leave, or go to another room and do my own thing. I'm honestly not interesting in being told I'm a piece of shit just because I'm a man, it really does hurt to hear people say that directly in your face, and is also psychologically damaging in big and small ways. Just walk away, do not engage. I hope things get better.
