You can't force women into stem. Check out the Nordic gender paradox. The more you remove all societal pressures for women to choose certain careers so they can freely choose what they want, the more they move away from stem. In Norway, Sweden and Denmark, in the least patriarchal societies in the world, after 3 generations of government policies trying to encourage women into stem and men's traditional fields, women are choosing the opposite. 95% of engineers are men and 95% of nurses are women. That's worse than here in the uk and the US. Yet in Russia, India and China, countries with patriarchy on steroids, women enter stem fields in numbers that would give feminists here wet dreams.

Edit: Yeah, I'll give it to the person below that my phrasing wasn't the best. The reports were probably from people who are offended by the idea that men and women generally have different inclinations.

The comments didn't have much negative to say. The most negative thing I could find was that the categorizations were too broad, but the categorizations came from his source (the Bureau of Labor Statistics). Seems the feminists couldn't think of a way to refute the data so they just wanted to censor it.

Of course genes matter. Evolution matters. People should do what comes natural to them that will create a happy society.

In India there is a strong patriarchy and strong family and community. They have a very low per capita crime rate, teenager are not getting high or drunk, people are very respectful and happy, laugh, make jokes etc.

I'll play devil's advocate for a sec. This graph shows percentages of wo/men in fields of work, correct? How do we know what accounts for the differences? Is it choice or are there societal factors limiting genders in certain fields of work? An 'invisible hand' if you will.
