I genuinely think that in the modern world, men are the better parents on average.

The modern woman only has use for her children as props or as resource extractors in court.

How can you coparent w a parent who completely destroyed all aspects of being a father to your kids when their vision of you is a mirror image of all the hate spewed out by the so called scorned mother?

Great question. My ex actively tries to use our kids against me in coparenting. I don’t see how coparenting is possible when the other parent is only focused on themselves without regard for the kids.

Co-parenting is only possible if the mom and dad are on the same page and want to work together. I thought it would be the case for me bc it was like that when we were married. With the divorce, she started to do things that we had agreed upon and even gave one of my sons a phone when he was in elementary school, which we had agreed with my older one not to until middle school. When I pointed out that we said not until middle school, she said you can't dictate what I do. I can do whatever I want. It was then that I realized that we are going to parallel parent from then on.

In terms of your kid acting out, it is probably because your child is struggling having to live in two households with different styles of parenting. If it is possible, try to see if counseling is an option. Just try to remember that your child is the main focus.

Kids when they transition from one house to another sometimes act out. Sometimes they act out before the transition, sometimes during or after. Happens on both sides. Not your fault or your ex's. Just a kid being a kid with divorced parents.

I've told my stbx each home is like its own country with its own laws. I'm doing what I do at mine, hers at hers.

Early on one of my kids pulled some stuff at moms and during the exchange she asked what I would do for a punishment and I said "nothing, if you want to punish [kid] you can do it when they return in five days. I wouldn't ask you to carry over any parenting choices at your place from mine and wont do anything here for you"

It's all about control. They will complain about ANYTHING to make you the bad guy, so they don't have to take responsibility. It could be as simple as your daughter talked about what good time she had and Mom has nothing to counter with have a better time. Now any disagreement is PRECIEVED to be acting out. Coach your daughter to not let anyone steal her joy and how to handle it.

It’s common and shows she is not interested in co-parenting. You have tried and now it has come to you parenting your kid, your way, when you have them. End of story.

Very common. Its either a sign of things to come or something that needs a conversation. In a contentious divorce it's best to "let sleeping dogs lie". Disregard it if it gets to be pathological. Grey rock method and all
