So we’ve been apart for over a couple of years and divorce just went through last week. Kids came home today and told me how their Mom said part of reason she broke up with me is because she had to do a lot of work.

First of all that is crazy to me but she’s going to makeup her own truth. Was nice that boys seemed to realize that was crap. I was measured and just asked why she would say that. Then for the first time I got a rant about stuff I did wrong and how she’s so much happier now.

Earlier in evening I asked for some money owed and also mentioned she forgot to send back some sports gear they need. She expected me to pick it up. Lol.

So I think she just got annoyed and took it out on me. Our 50/50 parenting has been pretty smooth so I was taken aback.

She’s disowned family and friends for being slighted. I’m not that lucky because of kids. Don’t think I did anything wrong so giving a list of “this is why you suck” seemed harsh. Up to me to suck it up and just be the Dad I am I guess. Just wish she’d take some responsibility for not only marriage ending but forgetting things. Anyway, just wanted to vent.
