I’m late 40s, divorced about a year now, and ready to get back into the gym—both lifting and cardio.  I’m in generally good health and used to be an athlete, but now I have a dad bod that got soft—probably 10-15 pounds overweight, starting to get a double chin, lacking good muscle definition like I used to have.  I need to get back into dating shape and gain the confidence that comes with it.  It’s been years since I did a regular lifting/cardio regime, and I don’t know where to start.  Here’s what I need:

- I’m a very busy professional who can spare, at most, one hour in the gym per day.  Workouts need to be efficient.

 - I need structure.  I need a plan that tells me exactly what to do and when.

 - I have access to a good gym with machines and free weights.

 - I primarily want to gain muscle definition/shape--semi-jacked, I suppose :) I’m not looking to get super bulked up or get into bodybuilding.  I’m not interested in using supplements.

- I don’t love cardio but understand it’s part of a good regime (and good health).

- I don’t currently want a personal trainer—just a good plan/system to follow.

- Would be great if a regime/system also had nutrition/diet guidelines.

Any recommendations?  Thank you!
