Married almost 15 years, 3 kids under 13. She's stayed home the entire time. I stopped putting up with her constant condescending comments, mood swings, just BS in general so lately she's been saying I hate her. I did a few consults with lawyers and was waiting for the "right time". Lawyers all said move out whenever, no effect in CA.

Today we were watching TV and multiple couples were getting divorced or on the brink. She turned to me and asked if I want a divorce, I told her I feel that I'll never make her happy and she said the same.

She said she'll always have her kids then she stuck her hand out and we shook on it. Immediately after she said she doesn't want the house, car, or kids, just $$$ and told me to GTFO out of our bedroom. Locked herself in the room and told me to feed the kids dinner. Couple hours later she takes the kids to get some fast food.

I'm moving my stuff downstairs and looking for a new place to move ASAP. Likely an apartment or townhouse with a pool for the kids. We have a 2026 luxury vehicle and house to sell. Gonna try and work out a custody agreement this week while touring some spots to move. Hopefully we can work through it amicably but I'm not as hopeful anymore. Seems she plans to stay in the room, ignore me, and leave the kids to me until she feels like it.

Just wanted to vent a bit. Should be a fun summer.
