Its just passed 13 years since I filed for divorce (filed on Star Wars day and the dates seared into my mind) and to this day it’s still probably the smartest thing I’ve ever done. But I’ve never written off the possibility of a second marriage.

I’m almost 40 though, and I have no intentions of marrying or long term dating someone with children. As I’ve gotten older this has become more and more of an issue, although there are plenty of childless women around my age.

I’m not worried about growing old alone. And I’m not worried about becoming to old to date. I feel like I’m at a point now where I would like to share my life with someone though.

For those of you that don’t regret your divorce, did you go on to have a marriage you cherished? And for those of you who divorced and never remarried, do you ever see yourself giving it another go?
