I think their idea of sex is that a virginal woman would have no concept of sex and therefore would be easy to dominate. Without being "tainted" by other men there is no risk that she has had sex with a more masculine or more sexually capable man.

They don’t see women as people. They see them as lesser humans, as second class citizens.

This is what racists and homophones and all the “isms” do as well. Part of their ideology is to dehumanize the group they dislike. If the US colonizers had seen black people as real, equal humans, there is no way all the slave owners could have done what they did, same with the native Americans. Same with the nazis. So same with women. Even abusers seem to view their spouse and children as an extension of themselves rather than as their own individual people.

If you dehumanize women and see them as objects, then you start seeing the different objects as having different uses to fulfill your own needs. One type of object is to be used for sexual fantasies and experimenting and playing out your dirtiest kinks - she’s just a sexual object for men’s physical pleasure, and then one type of object can be the caretaker/wife and fulfill your role in society to “have a good wife”. Since women are not people it is hard to see them as multifaceted beings with their own needs and desires. A nurturing, loving mother can love to have dirty/kinky sex and a woman who has a one night stand in college can also be the top of her class on the way to med school.

So, women come in only two categories and they can’t seem to think of those women as real people pretty much. Classic Madonna-whore complex.

That's not part of women's nature, they have purifying properties, and they'll lose them if they sin (have sex). So, they must abstain from sin, else they become the sin.

My description is a bit heavy handed and flippant, but this is basically what they believe. It's like a misogynistic magic system. Astrology for trad-men, if you will.

And you know all the stuff about men being strong and women being weak? There are always one or two percentage points more females in every human society than there are males, because male fetuses are more likely to miscarry, more likely to have mutations, boys are more likely to have developmental delays and autism, there are way more diseases that specifically affect men than there are diseases specific to women, men tend to die younger, and I recently read speculation that testosterone may have a negative effect on the immune system. Women are heartier, they get sick less and recover faster, are prone to fewer birth defects, have more stamina, etc etc.

I don't know what it is with these authoritarian, oppressive ideologies that brings about this weird phenomenon, but it's so fascinating! What I'm wondering is, since it would be so incredibly simple to fuck with these people's heads, why the left hasn't already destroyed fascism from within. You can argue about how they are supporting it actually happening in reality instead of it being pure fantasy, but I honestly don't think many people consider the porn they like on twitter as being serious support for the creators of the product, even though that technically is what it is.

Other than that, there might be some NIMBY hypocrisy as well. Like how many people can agree that wind power is cheap and clean, but they don't want huge wind farms built near them. Like... if i had a daughter... is she evil? what do i tell her? If you have a son/brother, is he evil? will you hate him? will you tell him to just suck-it-up? what if youre just completely ignoring his pain? what if im just completely ignoring my daughter's pain? it's tough.
