I was supposed to meet a guy for the first time tonight from OLD, he texted me about an hour prior to say that we might need to meet later as he was running late. I said "sure, what time" but got no response for another couple hours. He finally came back and said he was so sorry, his phone died and he had a "mental day", when am I next free?

Old me would have said no problem, I'm free tomorrow :)

New me didn't respond and just blocked him. I did my hair and make up, sat around feeling like a fool, then by the time he got in touch it was too late for me to make other plans so I ended up staying home. 😒

This is a tiny victory but I would NEVER usually ghost a guy like that, and would always give him a "second chance". Not anymore!!

EDIT: I got my first Reddit hate mail from this post 😍😍😍 I guess that means I'm doing something right
