I shared a very similar photo on FDS a few months ago... and I'm noticing there has been a lot more pics following of different dudes since. It seems that gaming in the delivery room is more common than we thought. This is a tragedy.

this is a reminder why we vet and why when you see the first red flag, the first sign of LOW effort, or you feel a gut feeling that is "off" or "bad" about a guy that you RUN. otherwise situations like this photo are plausible expectations for your future. I can imagine her heavy breathing and crying out of fear and pain and calling for him, but he's pretending not to hear her over the game or says he's in the middle of a boss fight. And you know after the baby is born he's gonna be gaming in his free time rather than changing diapers and helping out. This is why you can ghost, delete and block ASAP. protect yourself and know your worth.

At that point, I would seriously be thinking “Why am I risking my life to carry on this dude’s LeGaCy?!?” When I think about the awful things my ex said to me when I told him I didn’t want kids; little did he know the “with you” was silent. I realized how entitled/lazy he would be: he wouldn’t lift a finger to help me with anything, but he sure criticized everything I did. His mother was just as bad. It was then I realized I could not allow those genes to get passed on, or mix with mine. This poor woman is going to be raising 2 children. 😖

People like to come at some women when they’re wary of dudes who play a lot of video games but it’s because of shit like this. And videos games can be replaced with any other hobby, it just so happens it’s the most common one.

And this girl who’s from my neighborhood and pregnant as well, commented saying something along the lines of “I would be happy that my hubby would be able to de-stress during my labor by playing the playstation. It’s also a stressful period for him and he doesn’t understand all of it”. Girl, just be quiet pls 🤡

Haha, my LVM of an ex actually brought his Switch along to game while I was in labor. Needless to say, he left all the work of caring for our newborn child to me, and I was basically a single mother from the get-go.

Most guys I've dated were gamers, and their addiction was just like any other addiction. Destructive, expensive, unhealthy (staying up all night, eating bad food, neglecting relationships and responsibilities), all-consuming.
