When I used OLD two years ago, I got catfished! I was a pick me back then but severely uninterested in him but I felt too rude to leave the date. Finally I couldn’t stand it and I asked why on earth he looked so different to his photos and he said ‘oh, I used photos of an actor I’m always told I look like’. Newsflash, people are lying to you, you really don’t. (He was of an ethnic background and I wasn’t familiar with this actor so I had no idea the photos were fake.

I've seen men posting awful pics on OLD of them passed out drunk or drinking with friends and none of that is retouched. The most foolery I've seen was them posting pics of them selves 10 years ago, snapchat funny filters or them in the middle of other friends and not saying which one is them.

Hell yes. My brother’s friend used that young filter from face app and even lied about his age. He is 27 years old but on Tinder he was suddenly 24 years old. I think he feels insecure about his age lmao (he looks like 32-35 years old already tbh)

I would just recommend getting off of tinder I don’t think ur chances of finding a decent HV person in general are high. As tempting as it is the site is a set up for failure for women . I recommend joining clubs , volunteering , things of that nature as spots .

I’ve seen quite a few men use filters on OLD and I just have to laugh; it’s so blatant and not tasteful.

When I was online dating, I never used pictures with filters. I don’t use filters on social media, either. So if I see a man using them in every picture, it screams insecure.

Yes, I've seen several. I've seen the one where they can make their eyes bigger as well. It's so obvious to me when they've even edited because I have a photography background. It's usually these guys who have "looking for a real woman" in their bio.

At best their photos are all selfies taken with such little care that they didn't realise the default setting had skin smoothing/eye bigenning/teeth brightening in it.
