Reading (more than 10 years) And Drawing (i started few months ago but i m not very good at it) Swimming (4 Years ago) I want to learn to Cook well but for now i m not good at all I want also to learn sew my own skirt and dress, but i think maybe i will start in summer If you don t have any hobby go for a sport and books, the are the best thing you can do for yourself. (I considered also learning piano, climbing, jogging but i chose swimming and drawing, but unfortunatly i think that climbing give you the opportunity to meet a lot of men)

I am an avid sewist. I design items like bags and pouches and also make clothes for myself and my daughter as well as household decor. It’s part work part hobby, I’m in my studio a lot!

Aside from that I love to train jiu jitsu and I assistant teach a ladies only class every week which I LOVE! It’s a great way to connect with other awesome women and expand my network. I’ve been training for 4 years.

My daughter and I also spend as much time as possible at a local farm where we bring treats to the horses and socialize with them and enjoy nature.

Last but not least I am a talented photographer and have begun to exhibit the body of “fine art” style nature work that I’ve developed over the last 10 years. This is very exciting for me!

I also cook a lot!

I am into martial arts and special effects makeup (also glam/normal makeup, but mostly sfx)

So far I've met alot of other women through my makeup hobby, while in martial arts (I do kickboxing) the women rather stay away from me for liking feminine things outside of the fighting. It's okay, though.

Doing kickboxing made me alot more confident in myself and I have less of a problem to speak up against males.

I have danced ballet for over 30 years. I play several instruments. I am also a black belt in taekwondo, which I still practice. And yes, definitely, all of these hobbies have helped me be more distant towards guys in the early dating phase until they prove themselves. I have a full life. He needs to enrich it or gtfo.

I need to improve in the hobbies dept tbh. So far I’ve began learning how to cook better. I bought the book Salt Fat Acid Heat which breaks down the science of cooking and is great for beginners, it teaches you more than just following random recipes. Baking looks so fun too so I want to start on that next. I am also starting to work out more.

I go to the gym and yoga and am spending a lot of time with my newish dog doing basic training/bonding. I am interested in going back to school to get a post graduate certificate to expand my skill set because I want to look for a new job. I like walking and hiking and I think I am going to look for a used kayak. I have a low drama boring life that I like.

I’m part of a private gym and in addition to the weight training and yoga I do there, we have tournaments and compete in things like Tough Mudder. We also have regular meet ups and nights out and have built a good friendship circle there.

My job also means I travel a lot, so whenever I’m in a new destination I try and find something interesting or quintessential to the culture to do: visiting historical places, climbing mountains etc

Next year I’m planning on getting my Private Pilots License (PPL).

Fantastic question because yes, HVW attracts HVM and to be HV, you gotta have a few hobbies. Mine are:

Reading - lately reading a lot about plant-based nutrition

Running - Started with walking, then brisk walking, and now I can run

Makeup - I'm a pharmacist, however, I love to do mine and my friends' makeup

Cooking - Cook a lot of healthy stuff

I’m in school at the moment but when I have free time I really like digital art and animation!

I also love experimenting with makeup and clothes (though I absolutely despise the creepy attention I get from gross men perving on me for wearing some fucking eyeliner and GoD FoRbiD sHoWiNG mY aNkLEs UgH)

Otherwise I really enjoy going for walks, going to the gym, participating in school activities like debating, robotics and academic competitions, and of course spending 12 hours straight in front of my computer screen drawing something

I love coffee and latte art so practicing my pours and tinkering with my espresso machine is something I do on a regular basis. I also love cooking and pasta making and have done some bread making.

I've done a few minor repairs on my car. Eventually I want to be able to work on my car on my own because the car is ~20 so I also spend a lot of time diagnosing/researching problems before I bring her (yes, her) to the shop.

I'm a writer and an artist so I enjoy sitting down at my favorite coffee shop and tapping away.

I love to knit and crochet and make hats/scarves/socks for friends and family.

I've dabbled with photography.

I just started attending a meditation class with my apartment mate and we've done dance classes/social dance events together.

I really want to pick up a more active hobby such as hiking or dance. I volunteered at a hospital for ~2 years and I want to get into volunteering with animals as well.

Running, gentle yoga, meditation, reading, painting, sketching, journaling, listening to music (live or otherwise), researching and taking care of my houseplants, singing and playing guitar, spending time outdoors with friends or alone, and honestly reading this sub! Would love to add some volunteering to the list, and eventually go back to school for a master's degree.

I poured myself into my hobbies and my fitness routine after my last break-up and I have no doubt that it sped up my healing.

I'm now so fulfilled in my personal life and look forward to finding a partner who only enhances that enjoyment.

My hobbies keep my mind busy and my body fit, so I feel great being able to do them. I was heartbroken after I left my ex, but my friends and my hobbies really helped me get over him.

Love reading, although I don’t have as much time to sit and read. Have gone through a ton of audiobooks though! My favorite thing is putting on an audiobook while making a really nice dinner for myself or for someone special.

I do yoga at least 5 times a week, at home or at my local studio. I’ve been an avid hot yoga fan for over 15 years.. I used to be Into weight training and could lift very heavy in the day lol but with time constraints, yoga is better for my mind and body.

I also have been volunteering with homeless lgbt teens at a local nonprofit. I’ve made several amazing friends being a part of this team. It’s one of the highlights of my week.
