Ah, the lashing out at the person who tells her she was worth more than that. Textbook.

But that person doesn’t know her situation!!
That lady was 100% a forever gf who got “lucky”
[–]RadarFemefFDS Newbie118 points119 points120 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lol after she just TOLD US her situation. How very sad
[–]honeybeerollFDS Disciple98 points99 points100 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
She literally shared her story to one up everyone with how bad her experience was....and then gets mad at someone for asking why she went along with someone that she acknowledges sucked so much. Girl why the fuck did you air your dirty laundry if you're ashamed of it 😂
[–]VioletRomanticFDS Newbie28 points29 points30 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Because she wants to play the suffering Olympics. Okay, congrats, you won, your husband sucks the most.

What do people say, play stupid games, win stupid prizes lol
[–]wootykins37 points38 points39 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
People don’t like to be scolded. I wonder if she wouldve been more open had the wording been nicer...
[–]InterestingMango0FDS Newbie28 points29 points30 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is probably in a Facebook shaming group. You’re not supposed to be nice.
[–]-badmadAMFDS Newbie30 points31 points32 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She was the one calling the other ladies "bitches" first, for being unhappy at their situation (so she brought up how much worse she had it and then lashed out, classy).
[–]CassieGreen85FDS Apprentice44 points45 points46 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She wasn't scolded, she was the one scolding and shaming other women for having standards.
The response she got was not only dead on target, it wasn't scathing or bitter like her comment, or the bitchy reply afterwards.
[–]rinabeanFDS Disciple39 points40 points41 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Her man wasn't nice but she went ahead and married him
[–]namharsFDS Newbie0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I agree. I tend to have that problem when trying to make someone aware of a bigger issue for example. Trying to figure out the best way to go about doing that these days.

My husband is a total POS and its OTHER WOMEN'S FAULT!
The Pick-Me Queen, y'all.

This sums it up so well.

My soon-to-be ex husband also did this, but we were both about to get out of the military. He got a job in another state and he needed me to sell the house while I finished my service (his service ended 4 months before mine ended). Never had a wedding or honeymoon. Never actually proposed. Got our rings at Sam's club the day of. He said that we would have a real wedding, honeymoon, and new rings eventually. He never wore his ring.
This is a very military thing.
[–]dntbfllikeididPickmeisha™️45 points46 points47 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That’s most definitely a good reason to steer clear from military boys. Yuck!
[–]thialsonFDS Newbie143 points144 points145 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
“You don’t know our situation”
You...literally just told us the situation.
[–]timeknifeFDS Newbie20 points21 points22 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I was thinking the same thing 😅
[–]DunRutherFDS Disciple26 points27 points28 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
And she thinks she has the right to offer her shitty opinion regarding OP’s situation which she also doesn’t fully know
[–]AvisimaraFDS Newbie111 points112 points113 points 6 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
The "situation" is clear: This guy only wanted marriage because it was required by the Navy. He didn't get down on one knee and propose with a ring. He didn't give this woman a proper wedding ceremony/reception. And now she's complaining knowing good and well that it was her fault from the beginning, for tolerating this nonsense behavior. Very sad indeed.
[–]theglossiernerdFDS Newbie105 points106 points107 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
The Navy or any branch of the military for that matter does NOT require anyone to be married. He wanted those sweet dependent benefits.
[–]GAaliyah12FDS Newbie49 points50 points51 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
LMAO right he lied and was mad about too.
[–]gutsandgoreyFDS Newbie46 points47 points48 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Omg yes. My shitty high school boyfriend asked me to marry him (with an ICECREAM CONE FROM THE FREEZER) just so he could get the benefits from being married. And all his friends were doing it so....that was the only way our relationship could be "respected". Military culture is so toxic to the women marrying those dumb fucks (and women in the military).
[–]peachpy54FDS Apprentice17 points18 points19 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
By "required" you mean it gets him out of living in the gross barracks housing. Instead, you get a nice stipend to live off barracks, with privacy... enough stipend for you and your woulda-been Forever Girlfriend.
[–]upwithpeople84FDS Newbie15 points16 points17 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly, she got him paid and he didn’t even appreciate her.
[–]randomizer3021 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If they had kids together and the stories a few decades old being married was heavily pushed.
[–]RadarFemefFDS Newbie53 points54 points55 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Oh wow, she sounds like a pickme and proud of it. 🤮
[–]Summerisle7FDS STRATEGY COACH51 points52 points53 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
She HAS A MAN which is all that matters
[–]RadarFemefFDS Newbie24 points25 points26 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If that were really all that mattered she wouldn’t be commenting out of petty jealousy that women complain about their proposals. She is steeped in resentment and it shows. You can tell by the way she explodes when someone calls her out on it
[–]MyplummmsRuthless Strategist6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Right? I mean she's right to feel cheated out of a nice proposal, but she shouldn't bite someone's head off for telling her.
[–]galian84FDS Apprentice46 points47 points48 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This is just sad. And the guy didn't want to marry her because he loved her, but for benefits. Makes me think of my best friend, who I adore, but one day she admitted that her husband never proposed to her, and she didn't even know they were engaged for a few weeks.
She just mentioned that she would like to be married one day, and he was just like "okay let's get married then." He didn't even tell his family for awhile, either.
Some women think that all that matters, is that they have a man. Very cringe 😬
[–]peachpy54FDS Apprentice9 points10 points11 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Honestly... There really are moments where I wonder... where did these women misplace there pride? And why can't they find it again? If I misplaced something so important, I'd spend every effing hour of the day trying to get it back.
[–]dntbfllikeididPickmeisha™️25 points26 points27 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I mean, she DID marry the scrote anyway, didn’t she? So, it IS actually “her problem for saying yes to that”. Lol
[–]ShaakieFDS Newbie23 points24 points25 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
What a trashy person, honestly.
[–]MyplummmsRuthless Strategist13 points14 points15 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She's still defending him after he treated her like this? It's like a raccoon guarding trash!

[–]PanItWitMeFDS Newbie6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]RdrsesFDS Newbie2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
That's....not even true about the navy? What? Does he think he's funny?
[–]PossibleCookFDS Newbie[S] 4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think he just wanted the benefits that come if you have dependents
[–]hypathiaofalexandriaFDS Newbie2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I told my now husband when we first met (after a nightmare abusive marriage) that I would never get married again in my life and he better never ask. When I changed my mind, years later after I realized that it was possible to actually have a normal relationship and I was pregnant, and I couldn’t really figure out how to tell him that I did want marriage so I decided to propose to him. Its just a funny story now. We are still together 10 years later. But this kind of bs proposal is shitty and thoughtless. Its a life time commitment, not something you just arrogantly expect will happen.

[–]baldheadedoFDS Newbie1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She’s mad but that commenter is right. No one told you to say yes to that
