The one about him being a nihilist... I fucking felt that.

I used to be into this guy who read Nietzsche like it was his religion. He was the cruelest, most vicious person I've ever met. If he ever noticed I was sensitive about something, I was done. He'd poke fun at me in public, hurt me and mock me while I cried and isolated me from our friend group.

His excuse? "This is just human nature. Get tougher or die a sheep, crybaby." Like he'd seriously believed he was some sort of übermensch.

So yeah... Ladies, do NOT let a nihilist into your life. I'm not sure they're even able to love.

Claiming ‘sarcasm’ as a personality trait - it’s not a good one, and a sign of immaturity

Nitpicking

Over use of pet names

Trying to charm me. A charm is a trick - meaning you’re hiding something about yourself. I don’t want ‘Prince Charming’ Charms wear off quickly and I require substance.

Doesn’t read. I don’t care if you’ve kept up with every issue of ‘Plumbers Monthly,’ I want to know you accept that the world is slightly bigger than what you can physically see and that other people have ideas that are worth acknowledging

On the same note: puts down social media and over generalizes groups of people. (Rude boomer behavior)

There’s a weird money/value line that I have. Getting a good deal is important. I don’t want someone who wastes money on something just because it’s popular. I want the guy who drives a Hyundai or Electric car.

Won’t talk politics/religion/current issues. I don’t have to agree with you, but I need to know where you stand.

Men who claim to be feminists. Protip gents: consuming camgirl content and kicking down $5 a month to e-girls on Twitch does not, in fact, make one a feminist.

IMHO men cannot be feminists, they can only be allies. Regardless, any man who feels compelled to tell rather than show in this regard is to be avoided with a ten foot pole. I especially find it hilarious bc the ones who claim to be feminist are almost always the absolute worst about talking over women and mansplaining.

It's like one guy figured out claiming to be feminist would get him laid and a bunch of them jumped on the bandwagon.

On that note, any man who claims to be "not like other guys" is also a red flag. I dated one like this and sure, he wasn't aggressive about trying to get in my pants but he was WORSE than "other guys" when it came to demanding emotional labor and free therapy. Like God, so I have to expend all this energy coddling you and I'm not even getting laid out of the deal? Goodbye.

Men who live with their parents are fucking losers, and I don't even care about the circumstances. "Saving money to buy a house" is a bullshit reason, because they'll never be motivated enough to leave the comfort of their mommy's house. Why can't they be living on their own and saving while they do so? Oh right, because they don't have a live-in maid to handle a household. I don't even think I'd make an exception for a man who was taking care of his parents, unless it was his house and they moved in with him, and even then that's not someone I'd want to date.
Just circling around to hit again on point number one: men who live at home ARE LOSERS. Forget this narrative that tHe EcOnoMy iS bAd or that it's his culture. How fucking stupid do you have to be in order to not be able to live with a roommate or two? Pretty stupid and lazy. Every man I've met who lived at home was a L O S E R.
If he's "a few credits away" from finishing college, he's never going back.
If he makes a comment along the lines of: he loses interest in women quickly, or he doesn't have patience in relationships, or that he just leaves when things get heated, then he's avoidant and he will begin to ghost you as soon as you become attached in order to mess with your head.
If he brings you lots of presents and seems over the top into you from the very beginning and it just doesn't sit right with you, it's because he's probably a controlling narcissist who will eventually see you as something he owns.
Be very wary of men with addiction issues. If he hasn't committed his entire life to being in recovery, including changing his entire social circle, he'll probably relapse.
Firefighters are fucking insane. Every last one of them. Hot, but insane. They all have a savior complex and you'll always be second to their firehouse bros.
Men who play video games more than once a week are also probably addicted to porn, live in squalor, are overweight, and are misogynist. Video games, as popular as they are, are NOT a healthy hobby; they are a virtual timesuck and anyone I've known who has been into them is also an unproductive lump of a person.
This is probably obvious, but anyone who claims he's too nice, or that women only like jerks, has deep internal issues.

Not being able to shake my hand properly. The guys who either try to shatter my hand or seem to not want touch it at all are always suspect to me. My experience validates it, too.
Treating every discussion like an argument to be won and/or trying to upstage you every chance they get.
Not having any real hobby.
Being too into sports. (I just can't stand guys whose entire personality is being a football fan.)

Being into philosophy (these men are pseudo-intellectuals, think they are sooooo wise, are usually bums, have neckbeards, overweight, no EQ, etccccccc.)
Being into computer science (see above)
Think that "logic" is very important and mention that it's above feelings (are usually sociopaths)
Wear shorts in the winter time, or don't wear jackets/coats (don't take care of themselves)
Is super into politics (thinks he has worldly knowledge and knows everything but is really just confused and lost in patriarchal systems; talks too much)
Is a GoT fan (is a porn addict)

1) If he "jokes" about how you're taller than him when you wear heels. I would call my last ex out on this, quipping back "I'm taller than you bc you're not actually as tall as you say you are" (bc he wasn't! Lmao)

This is indicitave of a larger problem - insecurity. This wasn't the only way my ex expressed his insecurity or other awkward/difficult emotions thru humor. I realized after that humor was his defense mechanism, a risk free way to put himself out there. Honestly I think he was so insecure that he felt awkward/was afraid to blatantly express himself often. So the insecurity resulted in bad communication issues.

2) video games and/or anime are his MAIN interests and he has no deep interest in any adult stuff. I like video games and anime too, I want to have an indie game studio some day actually, but there's a limit lol. When being a fan is the main interest, I've never seen it not be indicitave of other problems

What's wrong with anarchism? Why is it bunched up with nihilism? The rest I agree with but as an anarchist myself, I prefer someone with at least a basic understanding and respect of what anarchism means.

To me, being a dedicated atheist is one of the worst red flags. It's fine to be atheist, but those who have atheism as a religion are psychos.
