In your 20s you should focus on yourself, building your career, your education, starting to save if you can. You should travel a little if you can, make lots of friends, go out and have fun, learn hobbies and skills.

NEVER MOVE FOR A GUY, NEVER QUIT YOUR JOB FOR A GUY, AND NEVER MOVE IN AND PLAY HOUSE WITH A GUY.

Protect your womb, and don't have babies with LVMs. This is not including the NVMs who stealth or who use reproductive coercion.

Always have a back up plan and a way to leave. Build up your fuck off fund.

Spend time with good friends and family, focus on the most quality relationships or develop new ones!
Learn about your health and how to best take care of yourself

A lot of comments about working on yourself, and I absolutely agree with those 100%, but work on your community too. Make a family out of women you admire and work on friendships, sisterhood, and finding a place in the world carved out safe from men (as safe as you can get). We all need love. Self-love and sisterly love will keep you from seeking validation from scrotes and LVM.

Several things I'd say, if you want to be wealthy later and avoid pitfalls that prevent you from choosing your fate.

HAVE A SECRET FUND for when you need to jump ship and move somewhere alone without notice. All women should have this, and tell no one. The fact that it is always there will affect your decisions going forward, and will be your safety net nobody knows about.
SEEK MENTORS - mentors are the ESSENTIAL link between you and big professional success, seek out HVW mentors and learn everything you can. Any successful person will have a list of mentors who've been essential to how they achieved their dreams.
AVOID RISKING PREGNANCY AND COMMITTMENTS, avoid serious dating if possible; it pays off in spades later in several directions
LEARN as many new things as you can that really spark your interest, from the mundane (free, local, accessible things) to the more involved (volunteerism, certifications and degrees, feats of athleticism)
PUT A NUMBER ON YOUR RETIREMENT GOAL RIGHT NOW. the amount of money you want to have before you retire. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. Because you cannot manage what you do not measure. Your decisions will be affected greatly by this. Just put a number on it, and that goal will be set for now. Say it out loud and put it somewhere you see it. That baby step will pay off in spades later.

Keep your mouth shut. Get off social media. Blabbing about your trauma attracts predators. Blabbing about your material accomplishments attracts parasites. Get a therapist, journal, or a small circle of HVW to celebrate each other with.

I made the mistake of dating a medical student during most of my twenties. He told we would get married when he got done. He finished and went into private practice. Then dumped me at 30. I lost my best dating years. Then I was 30 and men thought I was picked over and there must be something wrong with me because I was still single. To my younger self I would say date around and don’t stay with a guy unless there was a firm commitment otherwise they are wasting you time. I learned the hard, painful way. It took me 3 years to get over that and get my confidence back.

All of the other replies here are great, but I'm going to buck the trend a little bit. If you are lucky enough to find a good man when you're young, don't hesitate to accept a marriage proposal. I married at 23 years old and it was a great decision. Now in my late 30s we are years ahead of where we would be if we hadn't married.

He wasn't rich, but he was hard-working, consistent, kind, generous with what little he had, and well liked among his peers. A man like that doesn't stay poor for very long.

FOCUS ON YOU. Forget others opinions and expectations. Forget men and marriage and children. Forget rushing and cutting corners to be who you think people expect you to be sooner than you're ready. Take the time to figure out what makes you happy, what you want to do with your life and line those ducks up sis. Work for it, pamper yourself and cultivate good meaningful relationships with the woman in your life.

Don't focus on men, but only on bettering yourself. Earn money. Study. Travel. Be very selective if you want to date, but remember that you don't need to date at all.

I wish I had spent more of my twenties working on myself instead if trying to be attractive to (and obsessing over) some dude.

Also, more specifically: - educate yourself on healthy diet and exercise, and go on the biggest adventures you can within your budget. Go run a marathon in central asia or something - ask for things that you want. Don't assume you are not worthy. Pretend you are worthy even when you really think you're not.

Definitely get to know yourself. What do you like, don't like, what are your values, goals and dreams. I started to think like that too late, when I was around 28, until then I had been going with the flow. I wish I had known earlier. But on the other hand, I know too many people who never realized who they are, they don't even care about such things. So it's never too late I guess.
