It seems fairly obvious that people who are mentally I’ll and in much worse living conditions are going to commit crime at a higher rate. We’ve had that discussion collectively when discussing black on black violence.

So wouldn’t addressing issues do a whole lot to prevent these things from happening? How much of an effect would treating male loneliness, mental health, etc. have on sexual assault/violent crime statistics?

Does this also apply to how we deal with men who have committed crimes? Do these attitudes push them to commit more crime/prevent proper rehabilitation?
