Well... prostitution is bad. A woman is a mother. Always. If you wanna go further, what if society gives women more opportunities and support? Would the prostitution diminish?

I understand her point. It's not completely absurd, even if it's mostly rethoric and exaggeration. It's basically why prostitution is morally grey.

On one hand, people should be allowed to do whatever they want with their bodies, and if a woman wants to have sex in exchange for money, it is of nobody else business but her and her clients.

On the other hand, sex is not a harmless activity, especially if it's not based on physical attraction. It messes up with the psyche and it lowers the ability to pair bond.

In that sense prostitutes harm themselves for money so their moral status is similar to other morally dubious commercial exchanges such as kidney trafficking (it is a thing). Basically society agrees that there is a limit to what people can do to earn money and for instance they should not debase themselves.
