Cutting the genitals of young boys SHOULD also be illegal.

I was circumcised as an infant, so I had no say in it.. and up until my early 20s, I didn't even realize there was something wrong with me. But if it were my choice today, I wish I weren't circumcised. If I ever have children, I doubt I'll be putting them through it.

Simple way to inform people's ideas on circumcision. Show them a ~5 Min video of the actual procedure as normally being performed on an infant. The male child's only been in the world measured in hours. He gets strapped to a board so as to be totally immobilized, and then his most sensitive body part is cut on, used to be without anesthesia of any kind. The standard reaction is as bad a trauma to the newly birthed male brain as you can imagine while he remains strapped to the board screaming as loud and long as his body's wherewithal can muster. Nice.

Circumcision is the first act of sexual assault a man faces. Right out of the womb, stripped from your mother, placed on a cold metal table to undergo an incredibly painful procedure. I believe lots of male issues from violence to emotional unavailable stems from forced circumcision.

I'm Muslim and circumcised. It's not part of the Islamic rule too. It's not said anywhere. I usually argue both feminists. They say, rightfully, female circunsison is wrong, and then I ask, but what about male circunsison? I mean you remove the most sensitive part of a man's sexual organ. Most of the tiems without their consent. It creates complications and I don't believe much of the purported beliefs. Then I start to argue with other Muslims too who try to justify it. Overall I don't understand what would drive people to cut off their sons penis.

I borned in a country where circumcision is rare (just a procedure for some kids that have deformation on the foreskin link to the muscle)

And after informing myselft about the problems it brings, i cant fucking understand how is still so usual in first world countries.

It is literally like cutting the asschecks of a person because "he might not clean properly his asshole"

This is a tricky decision especially when you have a son and you’re circumcised. Do you want your son to have a different looking penis and have him worried or ask a ton of questions? Will girls (or boys) think his penis is weird when he gets sexually active in his early youth because most of his peers are circumcised? It’s really a tough trend to stop when you live in a society where it’s very standard. You either have to sort of force your son to be in the early trend to reverse it, or allow him to be like the general population. It’s really a tough spot for parents to be in from countries that standardize the practice.

I was and am against it. But had it recently done as per recommendation of my urologist. Adult circumcision is painful AF. Rehab was long like 6 months. If I had a choice I would keep it but doc said there was no alternative. I suppose it is easier to keep it clean now, just less maintenance. Sex is different more sensitive, kinda weird. Oh well

You really need to be careful and nuanced about this if you want to do it justice. Let me say, I am as anti-circumcision as anyone on this planet. It is possible to have cancer on your foreskin which can be removed by circumsision, not washing. Also, what about people who have very tight foreskin which can lead to death?
