After all, it has been pretty much officially promoted as 'boss-babe-behaviour-who-doesn't-take-any-shit' on tv, movies and magazines, for the last 20 years more or less. Defend yourself and you're badly toasted. The game is rigged. Walk away.

This tells you the far contrast between the education that society gives to men and the education society gives to women. I have never seen men normalising, supporting, promoting and endorsing domestic violence against their wives on social media with thousands of likes. If you have examples for that, show me the link to prove that they were not banned and their posts were not removed.

This shows that feminists are not against domestic violence. They just want to keep it for themselves to use and this is why they invented Duluth model to getaway from the consequences. They did the same with rape so that raping of school boys does not become the part of statistics.

Just look at how cases of women committing violence or murder against their significant other is treated compared to men doing it.

When men do it then they create new domestic violence laws. When women harm or even murder their male significant others then the media downplays it to the point its comedic relief to them.

If you look closely at each situation where this "size difference" is used to justify the actions taken by a violent spouse, you inevitably find some other factor that puts the man at a significant disadvantage. In your example, the man is clearly attacked from behind while completely unaware he's in any danger. In other confessions I've read, he is asleep at the time he is attacked or threatened with accusations of abuse if he should try to defend himself while being hit repeatedly. Then there is the common tactic of using a weapon, like a knife or a gun or a car, to make any differences in size absolutely irrelevant. And all of these direct methods don't even touch on the much more common and rampant plague of proxy violence, where institutions, governments, law enforcement, organizations, friends, family, or even complete strangers – like online mobs – are manipulated into causing serious harm to the man, up to and including his death.

Unfortunately, these abusers always love to justify their violence with the "I'm smaller than him" excuse, but the truth is that when attacking a defenseless man with a weapon, any human being, regardless of age, size, or skill, has to considered a deadly threat.

Then again, the fact that you even tackle someone to the ground kinda speaks to experience in doing something similar quite often. This gal' probably isn't shy about getting physical. A random accident doesn't really scream abuse, but things like this happening more than once is a red flag.

Me a 63-year-old man do not find jokes about being a symp or p**** whipped exceptionally funny but in my past relationships and present marriage I have recognized that all women test their men to see how far they can manipulate. All women are completely aware that they are p**** whipping a partner what that partner does with it to me is a test. women want their men to at least be somewhat confident and strong in themselves. Men that resist p**** whipping are becoming wimps are on a path to a genuine Mutual sexual relationship with their partners I have no real idea why women perform this test of their men.

The joke at the beginning of this thread is a prime example of an immature woman unable to control her anger issues and a man who has been conditioned to not use his power and strength to control those around him but as a young person I grew up old school and now is a grown ass man I don't allow any human being to address me with violence. There nothing funny about physical abuse of any human. And there are only a handful of reasons to actually get that angry at another human being that you're in a relationship with.

They don't see men as human (by their logic). They see men as walking wallets. They also objectify men and use them physically and sexually as well. God forbid men do the same to them, though.

But our society shames men for it and glorifies women for abusing men. The pendulum swung way too far towards one side.

Yep. I've seen videos of men "checking out" other women, and the wives/girlfriends smack their boyfriends/husbands on the head, and people most of the times defend the women and laugh at the men getting hit. But when it's the other way around, the men simply don't do anything back because they knows if they hit their wives/girlfriends on the head, they're the abusive and controlling ones.

Same thing when men "mess up" or make their wives angry, the typical response is: "he's sleeping on the couch tonight", "better watch out, she's going to murder you", etc.

I remember seeing a TikTok trend where women/girlfriends are trying to hit the men/boyfriends on the head but the men block it, and the women attempt to repeatedly hit them on the head and they continue to block it. And it's played off as a funny trend.

The joke from the men's part to me it seems like a way to make fun out of something so you can overcome it. In many bad situations we face we tend to make fun of them in order to overcome them or at least be able to handle them. The comment about the physical abuse just validates the reason some men made that joke , there is actually a problem some men face in their relationships and it is not being addressed .

Many men I know and me as well use jokes to cope with problems we have just because there is no other way to express them.

Advice I'd give to any man: If you feel like you need to just walk away whenever you have a disagreement with your partner, and that you can't actually have a mutual discussion without a ton of drama, then you honestly need a new partner. Flat out. Walk away, and don't stop walking. It's better for the both of you in the long run. Honestly, it'd probably best to apply this to every relationship you have, at least if it's possible. No one deserves or needs endless drama in their life.
